Hi ladies

Server still down:-( haven't been able to 'market' my thread for 2nd day now! Oh well...

Vix my fil used to say he has no faves or he shouldn't have...but u could always see that twinkle in his eye when he looked at his 2nd eldest (unmarried sil)...she was the apple of his eye. So I think parents love all their kids, but due to personality and other factors, there may very well be a subconscious preference. Don't feel bad though...we know u love ALL your boys...even though C is trying his darndest to ge u to question that!lol. I agree with Mandy...he is looking for your attention...its difficult, but u'll have to make time.

Mandy that's great tips for a cvertain thread I know about...*wink wink*

Helen I echo that the other ladies say...I liked Lisha's suggestion of writing it down so u can actually show doc on black and white the pattern and behaviour. Hope oliver's cough is the end of the cold!

Nicole go K on being so good with his own room!!

We had an awful thunderstorm last night...addy was terrified. Had to sit with her to sleep...came to our bed very restless:-( g and I are zonked!

Lisha lol @ Shreyan...sounds so cute this morning!

Ally the money helps...G has to do 180 hours a year of overtime at a similar rate a year in the form of night classes..love when that cash comes in! Lol.

Vix how is your throat this morning?

Hi ladies.

Vix, sorry you're having a tough time with C. I agree with Mandy, although I don't know when you'll have time to spend alone with him, but it might be a good idea.

Helen, I hope you get Nina sorted out quickly. C felt the other day that Abi's hip also clicks but they checked her hips out when we had her her legs checked and her hips were fine so now I don't know what to do.

I'm going to a lady's house at 11 who wants to do cooking classes with me. She's paying me for this hour just so we can discuss what she wants to learn and for me to check out her kitchen etc. She's paying me R200 p/h which I'm VERY excited about lol. She'll probably do a 2hour lesson once a week for a couple of weeks which at least gives me R400 extra a week, badly needed now that I owe my dad so much money for airplane tickets, rental cars etc.

Nicole- so please K isn't coming o your bed anymore but sorry about the night wakings. C usually sleeps through but at the moment between the teeth and the new school he's a bit disturbed.

C is Pa vas he must do EVERYTHING and I shouldn't complain really because he is amazing with his brothers. This morning even he wouldn't talk to me but he showed Alex his 'weet bik' and his fork and Alex must watch him eat and shake his hand. He never really shows hatered to the tweenies only me and I would much rather it that way too. I just have very little patience for children and when they nasty even less so. I would ratjer ignore him and have nothing to do with him than face his nasty rejection every time. But I know that's not very mommy like so I'm trying. My mum moves down on the 18th so from then I can mabe drop the tweenies by her and spend some time with my bratty son.

I didn't think mommys were supposed to have favourites but as these babies get bigger I can clearly see the difference between my bond with Alexthan with Jono or C. It's actually kinda eating me up with guilt but I can't seem to shake it. DH definately has a strong bond with Jono, there's no doubting that, he adored that boy from the moment he laid eyes on him and C, well he's also got his Daddy's temprementso I suppose that's why they get on well.

I think alex takes after me more, he's chilled out until he REALLY wants something and then he REALLY makes a fuss.

Helen, Ill be dambed of they prescribe LOSEC to you.. they will also look at the formula you are on again.. Cameron had most of the symptoms you describe and I went beserk, so I feel for you sister!

I found that talking it through with Anne Richardson was also fantastic, she doesnt just discuss medical health but sleep, the way they feed, poop and burp etc.. You know especially with Nina's hip, she might be a great person to show Nina to and to talk through this all with.. she runs a practice in LONEHILL and usually has a 2 - 3 week wait! but well worth it for that kind of problem. She wrote down all her guidelines for me, which added some natural remedies like Iron etc, and we discusses removing wedges and adding a pillow under the head to elevate.. it could be reflux and if it is, ISOMIL was the best formula to assist with this.. if the losec helps then they can confirm reflux.. Anne Richardson explained to me that with some reflux babies, they puke a lot, and so its easy to diagnose but with others, they dont puke ,which in a way is a lot worse as it causes longer discomfort to the baby and sleep problems too...

Anyhow - I hope some of these tips work, but if you do want to book an appointment with Anne, then call the LONEHILL dispensary in the Lonehill shopping centre. Also - you could email her in the interim, saying you have booked an appointment but you are hoping for SOME ideas to help till then?? her website is www.toddlersense.co.za and she responds personally if you email the site..

okay, gotta work - Vix sorry I cant respond to you too, but you and Christopher clearly need alone time! Maybe on a saturday morning. He is trying to tell you something with his rejection of you, and you are only human truying to deal with alllllll!

Hi ladies

Zee keeping fx that these next couple weeks whizz by for you and you can be rid of the MS.

Helen sure Oliver's cough will disappear in time, it's always the cough that lasts the longest after the cold :(
If your instinct tells you something is wrong with Nina then it probably is. Maybe keep a diary recording both her good & bad days, how much she's drinking and her reactions to that. Maybe it is something like a milk allergy but rather give the paed all the details you can. You know your baby best so I doubt any of us think it is paranoia.
Hope both the kids feel better soon.

Vix sorry about the frequent wakings last night. Hope those stuffy noses clear up soonest.
I'm sure C is just going through a phase and will be very affectionate to his mommy again soon.

AFM Shrey kept coming back to our bed last night, I would put him back and the next time I look he's between dh & I again and I have no idea that he climbed over me to get there.
My mom says he was very troublesome yesterday but was fine when we got home so we're assuming it was the heat. And she doesn't like to close the doors and windows and doors to have the aircon on so they were probably cooking in that heat. Much cooler this morning.
Shrey gave us such great goodbye's today, hugged and kissed both dh and I and then said 'I go the granny' and off he went lol.

Morning Mommies

Helen i would also explain to the pead how you explained to us, it definatly does not sound silly at all, a mommies instinct is always right!! ((hugs))

Vix shame man, it must be hard for you to see C acting that way, Im sure it will take a while for him to adjust and become loving again, how does he act with Elwyn and towards the babies? So sorry to hear you are all sick (besides C)hope you all feel better soon.

Christi wow you are so freaking busy, you must be exhausted!!

Thanks ladies, i have about 3 nusery rhythm books but they basically all the same, and i tend to agree Julz some seem really dark and just awful. K at the moment loves singing the wheels on the bus, incy wincy spider, row row and twinkle twinkle.

Zee so sorry about the bad MS. xx

afu, we are all well, K is still sleeping in his own room (hasnt come to our bed once since we have moved in) but does wake up alot so i have to go and settle him down at least 4 times a night.

Im still trying to deal with these bad "screaming" tantrums but jeez the child is so strong willed.

Julz your massage sounds like heaven!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
