HI all
Zee glad appointment went well, wow so knowing you are 7.5 weeks now, how many weeks when you found out? Sorry about Z.. shame she must be eina!
Julz - hope your life slows down a little, how are you feeling, you were so sick so recently and now so busy?
Shame my sister is really agonising over decisions about her marriage.. and she is being pulled in different directions from the family.. She had decided to end things over the week end and then has been reconsidering. The thing is, I dont see anything left in her relationship to salvage. Not to go into too much detail about their relationship, their main problem is that he stopped looking for a job. He has been without work for 3.5 years besides renovating the odd kitchen or bathroom ( as the labourer - he did this in the uk and did very well for himself then) but the only people who are mostly giving him work now are his family - to help him!! and my sister is slaving away daily, trying to keep it together with 2 kids in school , a bond and a husband and she feels like a sinking ship ALL THE TIME..
To me she is just holding on because if she decided to leave her husband she will carry the burden of breaking her childrens little hearts ( at 5 and 3yrs ) and she is so worried about them.. but she has tried EVERYTHING - helped him with cv, used contacts, introduced him to potential work, left him to figure things out, been patient, pushed him hard, and now the result is that she feels she is loosing respect for him as he refuses to find a way .. he could even be a waiter if he REALLY wanted to make a plan, but he wont!!
anyhow she has decided to start with a life coach to sort through her emotions, ideas and future possiblities.. and I said, there is really no rush when it comes to big decisions like this. THere is alot at stake so she should just take one day at a time.. and I told her my only concern is that the kids are not being caught in the middle of their arguments.. its better to bring your kids up with a happy but single mom, setting the right examples than an unhappy marriage with a dad that has given up and is miserable...
We all wish her dh would just realise that he is the only person that can change his fate...
okay gotta go, Cameron work up 5 times last night in his new bed.. I think the novelty has waorn off and now he is really getting used to it, I think a bit of sleep training is required now.. if I keep going in when he cries, then he starts doing it more often!!
Simone, how are you?
Lisha - you have a lucky husband, I suggest you plan some MEEE time so that he can return the favour now
