afm, well feeling better mentally today than yesterday. But upset as i noticed when i got out of a meeting yesterday that the ring Dh bought for me after the birth of K had fallen off, I searched everywhere but couldnt find it sob sob

K woke for milk and just gave in, i figured he will get out the habit at some point. I was going through all his baby clothes last night to sort which special items i want to keep and others i want to give away and man i became soooo broody and heartsore at the same time lol.

Yesterday when i got home from work i ate some leftover coleslaw (got kfc the night before) so i sat on the grass to eat whilst K was playing so he spots my food and comes rushing sayings "it's mine" he then proceeded to eat some of my coleslaw - first time ever. thought it was very sweet. His appetite has definatly increased again so YAY

I remember now yes, that you had a night nurse, oooo I was dead jealous! LOL The other twin Mommy in my group has a night nurse during the week but it's really not cheap, R6000 per month was one quote I think she got which is like half of DH's salary so no chance there! Mmm but once again I also struggle with my age old issues of having anyone in my house so I probably wouldn't feel very comfortable anyway. I must say though I have wondered if we should just bite the bullet and treat ourselves to a good nights rest but I have a feeling one night off might make the next nights on feel 10 times worse. No I'll just have to fight on. To be honest they sleep well once they actually settle it's just getting them down after their 3am feed and then the screaming from 6am. So it's like 3pm-11pm then 6am for a short burst, not too bad times to suffer the colic, it's just each hour feels like a day when you can't stop the crying. It's hit me hard this past few days, until now I have been coping but the periods of screaming have been getting longer and less controllable. Oh well, I'm still in a better place mentally than I was with C's colic so that's something to be thankful for.

There's a bloody Mozzie in this room again grrrrrrr I can hear it but can't see it......

The buscopan worked at first but eventually it did nothing same with the colic mix, I think maybe the body builds up a resistance? Anyways today I gave colic mix every 4hrs on the dot which just seemed to Knock Jono out, the one time I didn't give he was sreaming again but I'm not really happy about drugging him to sleep all day long just for peace and quiet, can't be good for his little body.

Nicole- sorry about K waking so much in the night, I must say I'm only waking once so can't complain. I used to ride it out with C and only offer water but now DH is doing C's night shifts he's getting milk whenever he wants and what's worse I see it's now got nesquick in too..... Men will do anything for an easy life hey?

C hasn't asked for his dummy in days and I promise you I thought this would be terribly hard because he loved that thing. It's so nice to to have a chin full of dribble when he gives kisses now!

Christi- sorry your cross over to the new company isn't going to be as smooth as you'd have liked. Are you excited though to start at a new company?

Simone- C did something gross especially for you today. I was busy with the babies and I hear C walk in saying "birdy Birdy, hello birdie, mommy birdy look" and as I feared he had found a dead baby bird and was holding it by the head, it's body all 'pap' just dangling there. But what was the worst was how close to his mouth that beak was and my son likes to kiss everything including walls, floors, centepeads, absolutely anything so goodness knows what he did with it outside before he came to show me. I told him the birdy is dead and we must put it in a bag and was our hands, he wasn't worried, just stick it in the bag saying "bye birdy, byeeeee" so dead animals don't seem to phase him at the moment. Thinking about it maybe he figured it was the naughty birdy that "stole" his dummy anyways LOL

O.K I have to sleep, will finish off tomorrow

Pfairy - How is Mia recovering from the tonsils and grommets? I think it was Vix that asked.. Cameron has been a different child since, he has hardly been sick - maybe once every 2 to 3 months, but before the op, it was every 10 days without fail!

Im keeping Cam home from school tomorrow and have bought flixanase nasules and venteze and betanoid. He is not caughing or anything but neither am I. They said he was just not himself today and looks like he is taking strain.. Luckily I managed to get Evah - our cleaner at work, and then another cleaner to help at the office tomorrow.

Vix - You are still an incredible woman.. Remember I caved and got a night nurse and put us into debt with her charging R250 a night, 3 times a week for 2 months until I could cope again!! ( with no colic and only one baby!!! )- but i remember how desparate I felt!!! its the WORST part and I really feel for you!

OK tonight I'm taking my suitcase out of the cupboard! EVENTUALLY!!! wooohhooooo

Ara - No I haven't packed my bags yet (SHOCK!!!! HORROR!!!) Yes I know but I still need a few things - feeding bras & another set of PJ's that DH promised he'll buy me this month. (now that i think about it I might need to make another plan at the pace he's going!)
