Simone- thanks ;-)

errrr child rotation, well I'm up for that because there are enough kids on here for me to go about 15w without my own child, on one condition, you take siblings too.

So who's up for C and the tweenies in the first week?

I love you brits!!!!!!!! LMAO! Head up his bum!!! he he!

Lisha...shame this bug has really got you for a while now:-( Those tablets usually work fast.

I gave Addison a piece of baby corn last night...she tasted it and chucked it out of her mouth! She likes mushrooms and baby marrows...will eat that over chicken and noodles...but carrots, etc....I need to send her to you Nicole! just for a week...please??

Maybe we should do that...a child rotation!lol.

Morning ladies

Nicole so sorry about the bad drop off:-(

Gerard is back at work today and left before Addy woke up...she woke up shouting 'I'm scared mummy' and clutched me so tightly around my neck....it was sad to see her like that. I had to sit with her for about 5 minutes.

When I got ready for work she told me she was also going to work....and she cried and cried when I left. Not nice....

Nicole re: weight...her weight is 13.2kgs. Got my 6 and 2 mixed up...lol. They arent supposed to put on weight now really hey? Cause she has been more or less the same weight for a while now....though I know she was definately up to at least 13.5kgs at one stage. With omitting the bottle she has lost some weight, but she looks very healthy so not worried at all about her weight.

Vix you have thought long and hard about the sterilisation and if your gut is telling you its what you want and you feel excited about it....well then I reckon its definately the right thing to do;-)

Nicole that is so good of K with the eating of his veggies!

I made a huge veg/noodle stir fry for supper and then some chicken. Addison ate about 1Tbsp of chicken, 2 strings of noodles and then wanted grapes...so she had a bowl of grapes for supper.

I've started losing some of my holiday weight now....feeling very good about myself today B)

Helen I'm so glad the kiddies are doing so well weight wise. Nina is a fusspot like her mother then with the milk :P

Oh Vix...8w is great to have given BM! I gave til 10w.....and I can assure you...from 6-10w she was getting WAY MORE formula than EBM...and I think my child is pretty darn healthy! Whereas my sil's lg was purely BF til 2.5yrs and she has been sick way more times than Addison's 2 times. Its just an example and obviously all the kids are different....but I really think you have done well to give TWO babies BM for almost 2 months already!

o.k this is turning into an expensive thing to give up milk.........

The pharmasist looked the dosage up in the book and Dr had written the wrong dosage, he wrote take 2 tabs immediately and the book says to stop after BF take half a tablet 2 times a day so the pharmasist has given me a repeat and some anti inflamatories so basically the R300 we spent on yesterdays tablets were a waste grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

She says we have to take the engorgement down before starting the tablets so i am going to express again now then take an anti inflamatory and only start the tabs once the breasts are softer.

so much for my great gynae, yeah with his head up his bum yesterday afternoon..........

Lisha- sorry about your cramps, did you try some buscopan for yourself?

Hi ladies

Quick pop in from BB ... Trying to avoid unnecessary issues so rather not use company internet if it's not for work.

Vix so sorry about the engorgement. I think I've read somewhere that u do still get a bit of engorgement with tablet. I think it will be fine if you do express a little to relieve the discomfort.

Nicole shame man, the drop off sounds awful. Hope he does adjust to the new environment soon. Stay strong mommy. I am dreading the molars, Shrey isn't cutting them yet and I'm hoping it stays that way for a while.

Helen wow you have big kids, nobody would think looking at tiny you lol. Glad everything was clear with Olivers hearing test, I'm sure he'll start talking when he's ready to.

Zee lol @ Z wanting to pause the tv ... Time to get her a PVR decoder hehehe. These kids are so demanding and feisty these days.

Simone did you say anything to mil about Addy not being watched properly? I'd also forget to leave the car seat on purpose.

AFM Shrey is well, with mil today. He's sleeping most of the night with us this week, don't know why he's doing that.
I woke up around 3:30 with terrible tummy cramps again. Had the runs again this morning. Had 2 Immodiums and hope it works well for the day at work at least.

Anyway back to work for me. Love to all xxx

Zee, Z sounds so sweet and funny. :)

Nicole- right there...... that is exactly why i think you're fantastic always making K veggies, now even his preffered choice of dinner is healthy! You're truly amazing!

Hi ladies, okay drop off this morning did not go well, K refused to get out the car so there was a huge fight:( and today is the first day he is spending all day there- well until about 15:30:( i really hope he will adjust okay, his molars have pushed through on the one side but still pushing out on the other side so i think this is also causing him to be miserable, all he wants is his dummy and then he tends to naw on it ovisouly to relive some pain?

Vix i can see through your posts that you have though hard and carfully about the sterlisation. and it seems it is the best decision for you. Good Luck. Thank you for the lovely comment yesterday, i do try and feed K healthy food but also give in alot to the unhealthy food.
Ouch on the encorgment, hope the pharamist is able to help you because that surely cannot be right?

Simone i would have been livid!!!!!!!!!! She is your child and what you say goes - thats the end of the story no questions should be asked!!!

Simone K and Addy are the same weight :)
