file Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Elwyn just phoned me (he stops at the hospital on his way out to work), the nurses at the NICU told my pead that Alex is looking too yellow so now i have to take him in for bloods this morning. Now i just hope they don't re admit him because then i won't be able to see either of my babies more than once a day..................... oh this is so so horrible! It's like I'm being given the chance to bond and then they go and rip my heart open in tiny little pieces, like peeling a plaster off slowly. It's like giving a kid smarties, letting him suck the sugar coating but taking the chocolate center out before he can have chance to enjoy it.

Morning ladies

Vix C looks like such an adorable big brother, seems like he is totally smitten with Alex. Hope he gets back to his normal self soon.
Aw man Jono looks so precious and you guys look so comfortable holding him. Praying everyday for him to gain weight like he did over the last couple days.
And please don't apologise for not being around because I think I speak for everyone when I say you're doing amazingly well handling 2 babies, a toddler and still finding time for silly old us ;) You take care of yourself & your family first and then worry about us!!!

Helen hope you & the family are doing well. Cannot wait to see a pic of Nina.

Julz your India schedule sounds hectic. Hope the weather is bearable when you get there. It is winter there now isn't it?
Nothing much to look at in Mumbai so you shouldn't be disappointed. If you find time to relax see where you can have a ayurvedic massage - very relaxing.

Jessica sorry you're not feeling well. Iliadin saline spray is all that I know is safe but if you're really battling your doctor will prescribe something rather than your sinus infection getting worse.

AFM we had a good night. At one point Shrey was crying & sleep talking - apparently someone was taking his toys
This morning he cried a lot for his bath ... fussed that daddy is naughty so mummy was the hero this morning.

Morning ladies,

sorry pics first in case i ran out of 'spare' time (that means time to do regular things before my big baby of a mother wakes up and needs her ass wiping all day LOL)

Thanks for all your support my dear dear friends i had a big cry as i read your messages mainly because it means so much to me that you guys are so supportive without you all i really don't know where i would be right now. Thanks for putting up with my whines and moans and lack of replies.

I had a bit of a talk with my mother but it hasn't really made anything any better i still need to wipe her backside with double velvet plush silk gold gilded toilet paper LOL so yesterday i just said 'how long do you plan on staying for because i don't need you here' so she says "but i came to look after you whilst you can't cope"

seriously people who decided i couldn't cope? I'm coping just fine thank you in fact my son is so stressed out having her here it makes life harder for me actually.

I didn't get an answer but i will ask her again this morning when she wants to be taken home, hell I'll drive to Naboom and back just to get rid of her.

JULZ!!!!!!!!!! Will you manage time for a coffee at the airport on saturday? I will bring Alexander with! I may just get DH to take C to the viewing area to look at the planes so i can have coffee with just you and you can coo over Alexander. Please please i really hope you do have a little bit of time would love to meet you finally.

Enigma ;-) you make me smile!

Ange- C would've joined Cole in eating the playdough if he was there, my boy thinks it's sweeties. It says 2+ on the tub but i can't give it to him until he stops putting everything in his mouth all the bloody time!

Simone- Sounds like you guys had a nice time meeting the girls, can't wait til you're back to tell us all about the rest of your Cape adventure!

Lisha- oooo weddings just wreak family havoc don't they? Even if everything is going great there is always one side of the family who have to start being a pain in the butt. Poor SIL, she must really love her new hubby to put up with terrible inlaws. Can't wait to see pics of Shrey on the big day with his man suit!

I'm sure Nelly is having a ball on her holidays!

Nicole- those meds sound great once every 3 days and now no more problems! That must be such a relief! xxxxxxxxxxx I think i am right to get excited for you????? xxxxxxxxxxx i hope so!

Gross, i just realized our pool has tons of leaves in after looking at the pic of C now LOL

I don't think i will be able to drop C with anyone for a very long time, every time anyone comes into my house he starts screaming "mama mama mama" and the tears come because he is so scared someone is going to take him away again. I look into my child's eyes and all i can see is hurt, he is so heartbroken that i bought home another baby. Every time he cries i just well up.

I may just try and drop him with SIL once or twice to see Jonathan but every day he will basically stop getting out the car.

I have the best and worst of having prem babies. The only good thing about having an NICU baby is that you can come home and sleep through the night still while you recover.

The good thing about having a strong prem baby is that you don't have to do NICU visits.I get to do neither of these LOL now i still have to do the NICU juggle but without the bonus of a full nights sleep at home LOL oh man!!!!!

Thankfully C has taken back to his routine very well and is sleeping through til 5/6am so i am at least not having to deal with him whilst doing night feeds.

Once my mom goes i will have more time for you my dear friends, so sorry to neglect you all the time when i need you so much.
