Hi Ladies


Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. Today has been lovely and quite. Just relaxing after yesterday which was hectic but awesome. I am feeling fine today compared to last year so yip on the mend and able to concentrate on this being Dylan's day. Can't believe Dylan is two but at the same time I think having a kid has taken a toll on me because it feels like he has been with us forever. A wonderful forever. So flipping sweet.

Yesterday was a blast. The jumping castle was great and the kids had a ball! They did a bug hunt too which they loved and dylan loved his cake.

He didnt' sleep and I was so scared he would be miserable but boy was he a party animal. He was sitting on my lap at our follow on braai last night and I was talking to Neil and neil said Dylan was sleeping. He had passed out during dinner with food in his mouth!!!! It is the first time ever that I have put him to bed without a bath I think. I still washed his feet, hands and face. We didnt' have a great night but anyway.

Dylan got some really lovely presents. Not too much but each and every one is just perfect. We were going to go out today but I felt he should rather be at home and play with his new toys.

He got an awesome trampoline from my brother and lots of books and a cool lion tourch. He also loves a fire engine he got and some 4x4's and he loves his magic board from us so great presents from all . I must still go and get his piano from my mom.

Nelria welcome back and so sorry about all of your hassles like the robbery. Bad girl on the speeding!!! Glad you had fun.x

Helen I can't begin to imagine what must be going on in your mind right about now. Strongs to you and you will be okay I am sure!

Vix you have the most amazing bump. I am a bit worried about you my friend so I am glad you are seeing dr tomorrow. xx Looking good though and you have done so flipping well and no stretch marks!!!!!!!

Ally so pleased that the party went well. Sounds like a blast and omw your kids got some amazing toys. So nice.

Just a quick pop in to say a belated happy birthday to Saraah and Dylan. I hope you guys got spoiled rotten and that your parties were a massive success.

The twins party was incredible. Everything went exactly as planned and everything looked beautiful. On my way back home to fetch the twins and C I started crying coz I couldn't believe everything was just as I wanted it. And everyone was so impressed with the decor etc. I was so proud.

This morning we opened pressies and OMG they were SO spoiled. First of all, Mandy, my phone is dead but I will sms you a personal thank you just now but THANK YOU SO MUCH for the awesome Mr Potato head and Boat! The twins LOVE that boat! lol

My friend Nosipho got them a KITCHEN!! ANd a tool work bench! I can't believe how generous she is! They got loads of other kitchen goodies, trucks, clothes, dvd's, books, dolls, a barbie, toy story and dora goodies. I am just so grateful to all our friends and family. And C's dad got them each this pull trolley thing FULL of Megablocks! THey were just so incredibly spoiled!

C and I are both exhausted though so today we are just spending a relaxed day at home. Will maybe swim with the twins just now. OMG I'm tearing up again. I just can't believe my babies are 2 tomorrow. This time 2 years ago I just heard I'd have to have a c-sec. SO wierd!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYLAN! Congratulations Julz for making it this far, hope you all have a super special day, I echo Vix, hope you are able to enjoy the day as much as possible, you and Neil are doing a marvelous job with your special little man

Nelria - Welcome back! Sorry about the speeding fine and the nasty thieves GRRRRR! Sounds like it could've been a lot worse though so at least that's some (albeit little) consolation. There's no baby as yet hehe, had a scan and internal on Weds and my doc said he thinks it unlikely anything will happen in the next week as the baby was still sitting quite high and my cervix wasn't ready so we're playing the waiting game now. I'm back to the doc on Wednesday if I make it that far and take it from there. I must be honest I still don't feel ready so although I'm pretty uncomfortable now I'm still quite happy waiting it out

Vix - I hope the doc can answer all your questions tomorrow and give you some solutions for all the aches and pains. I hope today passes quickly without too much discomfort.

I'm feeling like total crap today, think I only had about 3 hours sleep, the nerves kicked in last night and had a bit of a meltdown, getting nervous about the upcoming labour etc, I think its knowing that its probably going to happen this week so the clock really is counting down now. Then when I went to bed I just couldn't sleep because I was sooooo hot and couldn't get comfortable then when I did eventually get to sleep Oliver woke up an hour later moaning/crying so I went to lay with him for a little while. Theo then tells me to stay in bed and get some rest when Oliver woke at 5.30am but it was a totally pointless exercise as Theo was too lazy to keep him entertained and just put the TV on and lay on the couch himself whilst Oliver got bored and moaned and cried for me. Men make me cross sometimes, if Theo wants a lie in I always keep Oliver entertained, I think I deserve a little bit of rest right now, I need to keep my strength up as much as possible, all he had to do was play and feed the child but he's not even prepared to manage that without me this late in the pregnancy. What makes me cross is he's perfectly capable and has fun with Oliver when I'm not around but as soon as I'm here he gets all lazy and is like, well it doesn't matter mummy can do it...grrrrr...Anyone would think I'm a bit hormonal at the moment lol?!

Have a good day ladies, I'm going to try and get some rest...yeah right...

Julz- WOW my friend, 2 whole years! I'm sure you're still feeling very emotional this year but that i imagine will never change, i just hope that you can enjoy today with Neil and Dylan as much as possible. You are a super strong woman and every day i am in awe of your strength and greatness. Well done on 2 fabulous years raising a gorgeous little man! xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sorry I was MIA for a while, my aunt and uncle joined us yesterday lunchtime and since I haven't wiped the poo from my eyes until now. Was nice though, they treated us to dinner and bought C toy story 3 dvd which he loooooooves!

Hi Nelly, great to have you back. Sorry to hear you had things stolen, I hate that it really grates me! But glad Lea enjoyed herself. Congrats on Xen's 5.5m, wow it goes so fast the second time around!

Helen- what a really cr@p week you had with UIF and work. I hate when people think they know better, how are you supposed to get the right information on your forms when people insist they know better? And it wouldn't be so bad if they were going to pay you something but they're messing you around with the one way you might get a little bit of money. I hope you're feeling a bit better today and trying to enjoy what might well be your last weekend of freedom.

My feet are terribly swollen now all day, the left one more than the right, glad I'm seeing the Gynae on monday, I have a long list of moans and groans for him to hear about. My right boob seems to be inflamed. It leaked out a lot on thursday night I think and then yesterday I started getting a burning pain in it like the engorgement feeling so I stuck a heat pack on. The lumps went down and the pain went until this afternoon it seems inflamed again so I just think my body is really run down this week and it's coming out in so many ways.
