Good Morning Mommies
A belated Happy Birthday to Keiran, hope he had a lovely day and you enjoyed your evening together, Nicole congrats to you and DH on raising such a happy little chap.
Simone - Hope you felt better by the end of the day yesterday and got to enjoy G's birthday.
Zee - Hope your Friday isn't too hectic. And ignore your friend, its healthy to be career driven, it means you are striving to better yourself and therefore your family, no guilt needed on that front. I take my hat off to you, working so hard and studying, as well as being a Mommy, its no easy feat and should be applauded
Vix - Trampoline will be awesome and I'm sure C will love it. Theo's little cousin had one and it didn't take much to dig out a hole in the garden for it. And I'm with Angie, try and enjoy and relax this time as much as is possible (I know it can't be easy when you're in pain and uncomfortable) because once the tweenies are here it'll be pretty hectic for a while.
Angie - I agree with all the other ladies with regards to going back to baby ways, CJ is probably picking up on the tension that you're feeling and I tend to agree, don't deny him his comforts for now, I'd wait until things are a bit more settled for you all again. Sorry about your boss being an ar$ehole, must be something in the air with bosses at the moment...
Ally - Good luck with all the party preps, sure sounds like you're going to have a fun day

I thought about changing my mind and coming along but I've still got this cold and I think the baby will be making an entrance some time next week so I want to try and rest as much as I can this weekend
Christi - Sorry about the break in, its so depressing when something like that happens, hope you can claim on your insurance. And what's with your boss being a d!ck, he always sounded so nice?
Lelani - Hope you have a fabulous weekend and that you can relax and enjoy the wedding, I'm sure everything will go to plan
Yoza - Sorry to hear Buhle is sick, hope she gets better soon.
Lisha - Did Shrey let you get a good night last night? Hope so!
Julz - Your trip to India sounds like its going to be hectic. And I'm with you on the early mornings, Oliver is up anytime after 5am, no thanks to the peacock, another bird that comes and chirps outside his window or getting cold because he's kicked off his blankets. I consider it lie-in when he sleeps until 6am
AFM - Still suffering a bit with this cold, I intend to keep my legs firmly crossed over the weekend, don't want the baby popping out until I'm all better, I even told DH last night he can't come near me until after the weekend as I don't want to stimulate anything into action hehe!!
I'm quite upset by my work (like I said there must be something in the air with bosses at the moment). They filled out my UIF forms wrong so I sent them back (I'd already told them at the time that they'd done them wrong but they ignored me so I went and tried to submit anyway). So I get them back yesterday and they've filled them out properly but now I find out I'm not getting any maternity pay at all. With Oliver they paid me half for the four months but this time round they're not going to pay a single cent. The thing that pi$$es me off the most is that nobody even bothered to phone/send email or anything to say sorry this time round we're not doing anything for you. So I phoned and spoke to the boss and asked why I'm not getting anything and he was like 'Oh, I didn't know we paid you anything last time, we're doing it all by the book and it hasn't been a great year'. In all fairness he may not have been aware that I got half pay with Oliver as his dad was running the show then (his dad has now retired to Oz leaving him and his nephew in charge) but my salary is tiny so they wouldn't even miss the cash but it would make ALL the difference to our finances. It doesn't even look like they're going to be paying me any kind of December bonus

Its really depressing as depending on what all the medical bills are I may have to look at cutting my maternity leave short

My heart is breaking just thinking about it

And the crappy thing is that they may not have had a great year but the branch that Theo and I run has had a good year and we improved on last years figures so I think its really unfair. Anyway, that's enough of that, I'm going to try not get too upset about it as there's nothing I can do. Although I think its time for me to look for a new job in the new year if that's how they're going to treat me.
Anyways, I'd best get going and go have a shower, need to go back to the labour centre this morning to submit the right papers for UIF.
Have a good day lovely ladies.
