Oh Helen...I dont know what to say...what a rough 10 days indeed! PRaying your dad's results come back with something more positive. ANd the kids get better soon! Are you resting enough?? Or you wont recover 100% either missy! lol @ a bunch of bananas....an ingenius idea though to incorporate the 2 things!! ha ha

Nicole the car is actually a 'clean blue' not silver. I am not familiar with the Citroen range so went to check it out quickly...and now I know why....WOWSER WHAT A PRICE TAG!! lol. Too rich for my blood. :P Nice car though. Did you guys get it recently?

Ally I'm sure Vix is going to make you something stunning:)

Cant wait to leave work..the party stuff from JHB has arrived....so want to go and pick it up at the post office!!! :woohoo:

Helen i am so sorry to hear what a bad 10 days you have had :( And sorry about your dad, im sure it must have been a shock.xxxx Thinking of you and your family and i really hope that you are able to get some rest so that YOU can get better asap. xx You will all be in my thoughts.

Simone the car is stunning!!!!! Love the silver, when we bought our citron C5 i also wanted Silver but they only had black. Enjoy driving the car tomorrow....

Julz good luck with prepping for India, how long will you be going for? Glad Dylan is improving, K also has a snotty nose at the moment and cough that gets me out of bed like 10 times a night, i have been giving him prospan but there hasnt been any change, and as for his snotty noise, i'v been giving Rinex but cant give that all the time other so relying on homeopath meds so hope they work quickly.

Ally how cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!! congrats, im sure you must be uber excited!!!!!

Mandy yay about the house, im sure you must be relived and yay for having to miss all the packing lol. I seriously need to get stuck into K's toyroom before his Birthday/Christmas comes because he will have no space for new toys, i want to seperate sentimental toys (first christmas toys) and then give some away to charity.

Thinking about that preggy ladies when are we going to see some bump pics!!!!!!

Afu, all is okay, we just have a MAJOR whiner in our house BUT it seems K is getting his last molars as he keeps telling me the back of his mouth is sore and he bites on his fingers. Another thing is on Sat i had some af spotting but since then i have had nothing?????? and it is suppose to be "my time". very odd, going to give it till the end of the week before i start stressing lol.

okay go to run hope you ladies have a good day.

Hello friends :)

I'm so sorry I missed the birthdays, a belated happy birthday to Shreyan and Siba! Lisha very impressed with your homemade cake, it looked brilliant!! Yoza - hope Siba enjoyed his day.

Had a trying week, I'm still not over my tight chest, finished the antibiotics on Friday and the phlegm etc started back again so I'm now on another course, hopefully can get rid of it once and for all. Oliver has a throat infection so he had a trip to the doc yesterday, he's been coughing a lot and he keeps waking and coming into our room usually between 12-1am, I take him straight back to bed and he settles without a hassle but its annoying having broken sleep. Then Nina's one ear is leaking again which is good because it means the grommets are working but its crap because it means she's still getting fluid build ups and a few days before her ear was leaking she was waking crying in the night...more broken sleep for me - its no wonder I'm not getting better I feel absolutely exhausted! She has a runny nose and has started coughing, so I just hope she's not getting the same thing as Oliver otherwise it'll be another trip to the doc. Theo's sister had to go into ICU as her calcium levels dropped dangerously low again, seems to be a reaction to the new chemo she's on, she came out yesterday but is back intoday for chemo hopefully they'll be able to stop her levels dropping this time as they know what to look for. Then to top it off when I spoke with my dad on Skype he told me he's just been for a whole load of tests and has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease :( A bit of a shock as he's always been very healthy and never had any ailments and is only 62. Its still very early stages and he's going for a CAT scan next week to hopefully get some more answers but I'm still a bit shell shocked. So all in all its been a crappy 10 days!

Its our 4th wedding anniversary tomorrow (Yoza I think we share the same anniversary?). Can't believe how quickly the time has passed. Traditional gifts are fruit and flowers, we're so broke so I will probably just get Theo a bunch of bananas hehehe.

Simone- Very jealous of the new car, looks great! Lol at not sleeping tonight. We will need to look at upsizing in the not too distant future (we have a Polo) but I don't want to think about it just yet as getting a new car will require me going to work full time and I am so not ready for that just yet!

Julz - Have a safe trip!

Anyways, have to leave it there for now, have a customer waiting...

MOrning ladies

Zee you made a good point about taking the breather....so going to try and do the first instalment in November then only.

That changing station sounds so cute!!! I was going to get Addison the fairy secret Barbie, but you are right...AGAIN....she has quite a few Barbies and not that interested, but cook and make tea and coffee, etc...so something more interactive for her would be better. So may rethink my gift idea. Shame this morning she came to me very seriously and said: Mummy will you please buy me a party today? With a cake and a slide and a barbie? Heaven help me when I get home with no 'party'...lol.

Took Addison with to church last night...oh my word...I have NEVER been so cross with my child. She was a total brat with her cousin's toys...and tried to shove cousin off a chair...cried when she didnt get her way. Man was I annoyed, because I didnt know what to do! She was dog tired...but I'm so sick of that being an excuse for naughty behaviour. Ok cousin is same cousin that's been bullying her for ages, so I guess its time Addison got her own back...lol...but the whining????? ARGH!

Julz I'm jealous of the hair! COuldnt for the life of me figure out why I look so pale and plain in the morning...the I realised my hair colour is SO DULL!!

Can I dye my hair during pregnancy? Though with new car I am definately going to have to Do-It-Myself as G and I are on strict budget for the next 6-8 months!!

Shame...poor C...hope the kiddies shake off these awful bugs soon!

Mandy lucky you on missing the packing! LMAO! Good planning my friend!

Arrgggg! Just wrote a long post and then lost it. FFS!

Mandy & Christi, glad your LO's are doing well. Mandy, good luck with the moving!

Zee, enjoy your ML. Don't feel bad for taking Z to the daymother.

Lisha, the cake was beautiful! :)

I saw Vix yesterday, she's making me a dress. I'm going to be on Great expectations on the 4th of Oct (not sure if I told you) making a pumpkin pie and I NEED something new to wear. All my clothes are winter clothes at the moment and I don't want to buy new clothes until later in the year. Vix is looking good but shame, when I got there the cresche phoned to say that C has a runny tummy!

Anyhoo, let me get going! Have a nice day ladies!
