Ah, Ally the invite is beautiful, I would've loved to come, but we have a wedding that Saturday! I am sure it's going to be lots of fun!

Ladies, if you don't mind I would like to share some pics of Cj and of my mother's 50th. She was so surprised. The theme was red, white and black. We got her 25 gifts, and added 25 red roses to make up 50. Yes I know my mom is still young, she had me when she was 21.

Shrey doesn't usually get kiddies meals - cannot understand why so expensive for something that is smaller portion than normal menu. At McD's he'll just get 6 nuggets & a portion of chips. KFC he'll get pop & our chips. If we are at sit down restaurant he may get something off the kids menu like fish fingers.

Simone R500 for 3 people lol that's a lot but guess that's the price of sushi hey? 4 of us ate at John Dory's on Saturday night after the rugby but only mains and maybe 2 drinks each but bill came to R360 without tip.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIA!!!! HOPE U HAVE A FABULOUS DAY. PFAIRY WELL DONE ON RAISING SUCH A GORGEOUS LITTLE PRINCESS.

Addison NEVER eats the meals I buy her so I dont bother most times. Last night I got her chicken strips and chips at John Dory's and she actually had 2 chips and about 3 strips. So I was quite pleased.

Vix the sushi was half price last night and our sushi alone came to R210....so we ordered over R400's sushi! It was DIVINE!!! Shame...soon you can have all the sushi you want! lol

its funny because I tend to complain that the places are expensive, but where can you get a burger, chips and cooldrinks for R50 in a restaurant vs KFC/Mcdonalds/Nandos/Steers, etc.

I do sometimes thinks...flip but that was expensive for takeaways! BUT we go to a restaurant and spend over R500 for 3 people like I did last night...with half price sushi! So I guess take aways are not that badly priced.

Ally...suck the shells???? I dont think I have ever done that.lol.

Ally- oooo you must have a bad KFC by you. Our regular one isn't oily and greasy so we use there, we have tried other ones and find the food varies but our closest one is good.

I'd rather have an oily KFC over a Mc Cardboard anyday! I just love Mac D's milkshakes otherwise I don't go there.

We did have a nando's one day for a change but it cost a flippin fortune and we both felt hungry after so won't do that again. Steers we do on a wednesday occasionally for the whacky wednesday deal but actually only ever twice I think. I like my avalanches too much so stick to KFC and these babies are craving me hot hot chilli foods so a Zinger burger is perfect.

Julz- you're so right, even in pubs, wimpys and roadhouses the kiddies meals are very expensive for what you get so we buy a regular small meal for C. Like the wimpy, R30 for a kiddies toated chicken mayo or R35 for an adults cheese burger and chips..........

I also like KFC. Last night we ordered a twister each which isn't oily at all (grilled) and some chips and chicken nuggest for Dylan plus a milk shake for Dylan and I (very nice one too) and it came to under 100.00. I find the kiddie meals are expensive everywhere so we just order a regular meal for Dylan and take home the rest.
