Morning ladies,
Simone- wow! well done on the weight loss, I'm not surprised you feel on top of the world! You deserve every god feeling that comes your way! And keep on talking about it you're inspiring so many!
Ally- thanks for filling me in on the guy, we don't have DSTV so i don't see any of those cooking programmes etc hence the blankness of who he was LOL
Julz- bless Dylan last night

these kids sometimes have their own agenda hey! I think the short torso is the cause of my pain and suffering too, i was fine with C until 36-37w but obviously with 2 babies I'm about the same size as that already, in fact i can feel the tummy is 'fuller' like my body just won't grow anymore and they are using internal space now. It's getting tough i must say and i too feel like i could cry most of the day. I woke at 7am feeling quite good but by 9 the bruised feeling started and now the back and ribs are actually sore already, these next few weeks are going to be long.
Mandy- Cam's pics are too cute! I'm using a regular maternity belt around the bottom of my tummy to try and aleviate some of the 'pull' on my abdomen but the pain that is the worst is basically from all the stomach's organs laying now up in my ribcage. There isn't really much that can be done, they say laying down helps but for me not quite enough because my belly pulls the one side so sore so it's just going to be a case of grin and bare it for another 7 weeks or as long as possible.
I am looking forward to having my body back that's for sure!
PFairy- Mia is gorgeous! Sorry about your grandfather, it must be so hard, i must say i lost mine when i was still small so the memories are vague. Can't think how it will feel when the grans pass on. I hope DH gets a fantastic job offer out of all these talks! Nice to pick and choose hey?
o.k so the thing i was complaining about on FB is basically this, we had a guy from DH's work over with his wife and kids for a braai and she overhears me telling my mum how sore i have been with the rib pain. She proceeds to climb into my DH about how we NEED a domestic and NEED someone to care for C full time because it's unfair how he makes me do everything when I'm pregnant with twins.
I don't have a domestic because i can't afford one especially now that i can no longer work, i can't afford a creche or Nanny for C because DH's salary just covers the bills and now we have 2 more babies on the way. So as much as it is going to be hard work as long as i am not able to earn money we really just cannot afford any domestic help or childcare.
I get really Pi$$ed at people who act like a woman cannot survive without help. If i was still in the UK i wouldn't have domestic help even if i was a working mum never mind SAHM. So for me i graciously suck up the work and try not to make a huge thing of it. I have never once complained that i cannot cope with my chores of mommy or housewife so for this woman to climb into DH and treat him like a villain was so cruel and unfair. Not once do other people consider the monetary side of taking on staff.
Especially once the twins are here we will have 2 more children to pay medical aid for, 2 more babies in nappies etc so even less so will we be able to afford help.
Anyways that's my rant over, i just wish people would remember I'm not on paid maternity leave, i have no job therefore no income so i have no choice but to do it myself and i don't even complain about it, it is what it is.
