Morning Ladies,

Vix, I found that Pep clothes in general seemed smaller than Ackermans'. You know how small Iris is and I always have to buy at least the next size for her at Pep while at Ackermans/Edgars she wears smaller sizes. She is already in 2-3years from Pep but still fits in some 9-12 & all 12-18mnths form Ackermans.

This is just a quick pop-in as I'm off to the accountants this morning

Iris' ears is fine, the lady said that we must watch her though as it seems she has a middle ear infection which we didn't even know about and apparently during the infection everything she hears will sound as if she is under water and when it clears up everything will sound normal again and that may impair her language development as the sounds keeps changing.

My ears are also ok and although my hearing decreases at higher frequencies (speech) it is still in within acceptable range. She did say that if my hearing in noisy enviroments become a real problem for me she can recommend an hearing aid that enhances speech and supresses other sounds.

Ally- what year were you born? I think i was maybe on that tour........... 2000/2001 something like that?

Angie- I'm so pleased you guys had a great weekend away together. What a great relationship booster! We went away alone for a night in May and it was wonderful, felt like free people again!

The Anti-D injection was a bit of an ouch, not just the ouch in the bum but the ouch in the pocket too! R606! Forgot how expensive it was and i have to have another one after the birth too. But i feel a lot better having had that, just like i can relax a little bit as I've done everything i can possibly do. I have changed over to the Preg Omega vitamins so hopefully those will make a difference too, I'm sure supplying 2 babies my body is under a lot of strain.

So i have really been thinking and i may well need to admit that i need some tiny baby/prem baby grows LOL I've been trying not to buy because now i think it might be a waste of money but ultimately the fact is that they will be smaller than C was so i might just buy a few sets and if i need more i can send Elwyn to go get for me.

Ally- is it just Ackermans that sells tiny baby? I don't want to shop anywhere expensive but also Woolies clothes always come up enormous so that's pointless.

Looks like Jet and PEP only start from newborn or 0-3m.

C received a great prezzie from the UK yesterday, it's a portable art easel, it has a black board, whiteboard, magnetic letters and paper and pens too. Really nice and it folds up so small!

When I was I think 15 we went to go see Lord of the Dance at the State Theatre in Pretoria. It was incredible. My dad paid for my 2 girl cousins, my aunt, my mom and myself to go and we all loved it.

Angie, we don't even talk about him going. We just kind of avoid the issue because his sister and mom both burst into tears everytime we do.

I'm really hoping I can get that dvd player for cheaper than R1000. But the odds don't look good hey?

I have a GINORMOUS fever blister on my bottom lip. It is SO disgusting and looks like some type of mutant growth. If it's not gone by Friday I'm not going to go to the Exclusive Books launch. Nobody wants to talk to the freak with a facial growth now do they?

PFairy- not sure how i missed the news about DH's job, speed reading again. Congratulations, it's fab news and you of all people will be a great SAHM, you have so many wonderful fun ideas of things to do with the kids and maybe it'll give you more time to work on your blog!

Helen- Sounds like you're really looking forward to your mum's arrival! I hope the 2.5w flies by! But then also that puts you 2.5w closer to your not very far away D day LOL are you nearly ready for baby 2 yet?

Today i am just doing NOTHING because tomorrow my mum is coming down to take me out shopping for the last of the big baby items like breathing monitor, carry cot things like that.

We had a good night. Cj was very tired after Kindermuzik, after being the front runner in class, he is suprising me every week with things he has learned and how good he cooperates in class, yesterday he did not even sit with me or dance by my side, he was with the teacher the whole time, and enjoyed himself so much, only looking at me now and again, and smiling as if to say mommy look at me!!!! He went to bed by himself at 8:00 and was off by 8:15! I was soo tired and we also went to bed at 9:00, and Dh said Cj only woke at 7:30 this morning!

Helen - I am so sorry Oliver is sick! Ear infections are terrible and really painful, even more so for the LO's! Hope he gets better soon, and good luck with the busy time lying ahead, can;t believe baby is almost here!

Pfairy - a very big congrats on hubby new job!

Julz - ag it sounds so sweet you and Dylan cuddling in bed before the day starts, it is really precious! Well done on Dylan sleeping in for mommy!

Ally - we bought Cj the protable DVD player last year December and it cost us R 1300.00 at Hi Fi corp, it is a lifesaver when we need to travel to my parents which is 6 hours drive!

Sorry to hear about your cousin moving to Australia, I kinda know how you feel, as my best friend is immegrating to Aus next month, we are having their farewell this weekend. Her DH got a great offer there and they decided to go. It's very sad for me too as it is so far away, so I can just imagine how you must feel having to say goodbye to your family!

We are going on holiday in December to the south coast with friends of ours, they have a beach house, and invited us with, so we don't have to pay accomodation so that's a bonus!
