Hi helen. Glad the check up went well.

Nice to see you here Zee. xxxxx

Simone give yoga a chance. there isn't a right and a wrong and even the best yogi's have off days. they say even thinking of the pose creates good energy. x If I have a bad day, I can't balance at all.

Glad the spots are allergy related and I know what you mean about forgetting things. I make a list now.

As for dicipline etc, it is easy to say do this or that, but it is a mindset that you have to learn. He states that parents do need to learn parenting skills. Why on earth do we think it is all common sense. Each child is different too.

My best advice is to think about how you would like to be treated. Then ask yourself if that is how you are treating your child? It doesn't mean you shouldn't guide them and let them know you don't like certain behaviour but it just means that they need to feel acknowledged. Their feelings count. Anger is normal for all of us so that is not naughty behaviour. We swear etc. What can they do to release it??? Throw a tantrum for that is the only skill they have for now. You need to teach them new skills.

Vix awesome getting pj's on sale! I desperately need a new pair myself.

Helen hope oliver's snotty nose does not get serious!

I'm so pissed...took Addy to gp for spots and turns out its allergic reaction, but besides that...i freakin forgot to show home her toe! Eish!

Watching season 2 of glee...first time ever...and cute show.

Julz I need some tips on discipline! I am to quick to shout and hit and I know its not good. Also Addison has started becoming selfish the last 2 days and I hate it!

Nicole we also had spaghetti bol for supper....but diet version using sweetener...was very nice!

Julz Addy sat on those plastic bikes and had no idea what to do..lol. I'm sure dylan will love his in time.

Oh flip guys...hectic workout tonight then decided to attempt yoga! Ha ha...i suck!

Evening ladies,

Lets start by replying as much as I can remeber before I forget it all, think I might be getting to the stage where I need a pen and paper to get it all right lol:-

Simone - With Addy's toe I'd also suggest a podiatrist, chances are that's where a GP will send you anyways so I'd start there. It sounds really sore poor little mite. And as for the BDing - lucky Gerhard, and he sounds so sweet and loving - you're definitely one of the lucky ones!

Speaking of BDing - Zee are you guys still thinking about no2?! I'm so happy Z is sleeping better in a big bed. Have you got pics of her updated room? I take my hat off to you and the studying, I don't know how you find the time.

Vix - Lol at your dreams heheh. I've had a few naughty dreams as well, it must be something to do with hormones ;) I always get PJs from woolies, they have the nicest PJ pants and they work out so reasonable when you get them in the sale.

Christi - Your house is looking stunning, well done to you guys, you can really see your hardwork is paying off. Oliver is also way behind on the talking, I'd almost say that he only has 3 proper words but he'll make sounds for things - roars for lions, monsters etc, vrooms for a car, chugchug for a train, meow for a cat, makes a tickaticka sound for a helicopter etc etc so I don't think there's anything wrong at the moment, I think he just isn't ready to talk yet. I think what I might do is take him to the paed for a check up at 2years and see what he says then. With Oliver I really don't think its a hearing problem because he understands everything without any problem.

Julz - I'm sure Dylan will love his bike in time. Sounds like the book is really working for you.

Nelria - Shame man, sounds like you having a rough time of it with the kids getting sick and trying to study as well. Hope its nothing serious. As for bathing together, sounds so cute.

Lisha - Shrey looks so cute!!!! A winning smile there :)

Ally - How was your cake?

OK that's my memory finished, hello everyone else!

We're all still sick with a cold, poor Oliver's cheeks are chapped from all the snot and I look like Rudolph with a red and runny nose, slept terribly last night as I couldn't breathe out of my nose and I have a sore throat as well so breathing out of mouth not comfortable at all. Hopefully it'll be a little lighter tonight.

I went for a check up today, I've picked up 2kg which is good news, brings me to 7kg gain in total. BP was a slight improvement on last time but not much 90/55, still, better its low than high. Also found some glucose in my sample but that may have been the marshmallows I ate at lunchtime lol - got a thing for those twirly multi coloured ones at the moment :) On the downside he says I ought to start thinking about the idea of a C-Sec, he says we can wait until 37 weeks to decide but I think he's going to be recommending it, I'm 33 weeks and baby is measuring over 35 weeks on most measurements. Oliver was also big but it looks like this one is going to be even bigger. I've decided I'm not going to worry about it until I have to and just be prepared for either outcome.

That's me for now, I'm going to climb into bed and hopefully make up some sleep from last night!

hi everyone, how are you? Im sitting here trying to figure the cellphone internet out again. I was born in the wrong century...↲z is watching in the night garden, and is having hysterics because the tombleboos or whatever went away... Shame, she managed to blow her own bubbles today for the first time. She was so chuffed.↲About the patience thing, it is not easy being patient with a toddler, they can be exhausting. ↲Im often at the end of my tether with z, luckily dh is a lot more chilled around her .,

Vix I am so pleased the bra has helped. I also found that not wearing one (which for me is not good) helped a bit.

Oh and you will be amazed how quickly the kids respond. I started about a week ago trying to be positive and he hasn't smacked me for about 5 days and almost no tantrums. It's as if he actually listens to me now.

We went to the spur tonight for a treat. Dylan was very good and played in the play area a bit and then ate his food. We then finally went and bought him a bike. Got him an orange y bike (zian has a green one) and not so sure he likes it but I am sure he will in time.

Have a fabulous night ladies. xxx

Christi- the house is looking really great!

Lisha- LMAO there's one thing you can say about me and that is that I'm honest, I don't mind admiting I have such a type of dream, maybe it's the european in me who knows.

Wow, I just went out to get a few bits for me ready for the birth and bought PJ bottoms in the sale at woolies for R70 each which is fab because I already have the front opening tops just needed comfy bottoms, and I went to spend my baby city vouchers and got my very first Carriwell drop cup nursing bra and wow is this thing comfy! I haven't even taken it off yet because it almost instantly relieved my rib pain by half (I suppose because it's keeping my posture straight) man I am in love with this bra! Definately going to buy a few more when mum takes me shopping next week. O.k they're not cheap @ R250 each but ooooooo so comfy and supportive, I'm really going to enjoy these when I BF.

My tummy is getting really veiny, it's like a huge network of thick blue veins it's gross but at least I'm still keeping the stretchmarks at bay for now.

Julz- I was thinking about what you were saying about the book earlier and I realised I probably need to change the way I communicate with and discipline C but it's really going to take some time for his reaction to change because he's still throwing hitting fits and I so badly want to hit him back it's driving me mad.

Vix, I also had very kinky dreams when I was pregnant. I used to dream C, my ex and I were doing it...very STRANGE! lol

Christi, the house looks AMAZING! I think it must be so great to know that you're doing everything yourself.

I said to C the other day, I'd obviously love to move into a stunning house straight away but I think the sense of accomplishment and achievement you must feel after renovating your house yourself must be so rewarding. :)

My brother and SIL are coming over for dinner tonight and I'm just making a low-fat tuna-rice salad (doesn't sound nice but it's amazing!) and they always want dessert, but seeing as I'm finally taking my diet seriously, I didn't know what to do. So I thought, let me try to see how low-fat and low-sugar I can make a chocolate cake. It's in the oven and it smells DIVINE! If it's a success, I'll share the recipe. :)
