Lots of "new" names that I haven't met yet. Vix, I see that you are also expecting twins. I had my twin boys three months ago. A real blessing but very diferent to parenting a singleton. Morning ladies,

Angie- we're all fine thanks, trying to take the running around a bit easier, i seem to be in and out of the car every day of the week which is uncomfortable but also hard work lifting C in and out all the time and into trolleys so by staying home i can avoid all the picking up which is really helping lots.

That Jungle Gym is a real bargain, we were looking last year and that would've been cheap for metal here.

C- actualy won't go to sleep before 8.30, i have tried many times but like Angie it's actually worse asking him to go to bed before he's ready because we in and out of bed and then finally only settling down at 9.30 which is not an option for me these days so we just keep asking him if he's ready from 8pm and eventually he'll give in and go to bed.

So yesterday i made the tweenies bean bags, a much better size for them (ah so cute, 2 matching bean bags, i think it's my first matching set of anything LOL) and i still had extra beans so i made a medium size bean bag for C which he much prefers so the bigger one can go to his cousin.

I am busy busy busy this weekend, we have the wedding to attend tomorrow and then obviously the big meet on sunday!!! so today is washing day otherwise I won't get time to do it but it's a lovely day outside so i shall enjoy sitting in the garden with C aswell.

C is watching his Afrikaans DVD's and the Baby Tjoklits song came on, would you bloody believe it, he comes to me in my sewing room and asks me for "leaaaase loco" which means Please Chocolate, i couldn't believe it, he never ever asks me for chocolate especially not in the morning!!!!! These kids pick up more than we realise, Dh said to me the other day when i was out he was chatting away to C in Afrikaans and he was answering and doing all he was being asked to do. I actually think he understands and speaks better Afrikaans than English which is TERRIBLE for me LOL

Nelria- wooooo hooooo congrats on the poop in the toilet! We will be a long way off that because C is not a fan of pooping because of all his constipation issues so i am totally jealous of you!!!!!

I have such a busy weekend ahead of me!!!!

Tomorrow going to buy Bryce's bed & side-table, the stain, bedding & curtains etc etc to start getting his room ready......ooooohhhh so excited!!!

Nicole, I also felt like it was too late - but I've tried putting Cj down at 19:00 or 19:30, and then we end up going back and forth, because he does not want to stay in his bed. I feel if he is not difficult or tired and 20:00 is the time he goes down easy, then it's fine with me, I hate fighting with him to go to sleep, and it's much more enjoyable if he goes to bed by himself!

DH has this thing, he says if Cj does not want to kiss him night-night, and waves to him while walking to his room, he knows that he is not going to go down easily and will be fighting not to go to sleep. So now what I do, is after Cj's bath, he drinks his milk on the couch, and about 10 minutes after I'll tell him say night night to daddy, and when he stands up does everything and walks to his room and waves, I know his tired and ready for bed! I've tried it at 19:00 and he just says huh huh when I say kiss daddy night night.

Nicole Shrey also sleeps anywhere from 7:30 to 8:30 and because he doesn't have a bottle or anything to unwind it usually takes him a little longer than most kids to settle down.

Julz thanks for congrats to hubby. Fortunately it wasn't a very long ceremony.

Angie the jungle gym is very cool I'd also have to move outside if we get one so rather not for now lol we're lazy parents

I woke up with this red spot in my eye, read up on it and it says it isn't anything serious but damn it looks ugly

Shrey slept pretty well last night. I was afraid he will wake up because he had a busy afternoon helping my sister move but he slept okay (well with the help of a couple ml's of Calpol but not sure if that even makes a difference).

Angie the jungle gym looks sooooo cool!! CJ is going to be one happy little boy!!! Thats a very good price.

Okay im glad to know im not the only one with a LO going to bed which i think is quite late?
