Simone, usually I'm the same. But my doc always tells me to drink celestamine and wait 30 minutes if I can. So I tried and thank goodness it worked. But I drank 2 so I knew it would help.

Miss K is fine as well. It was Eid this past weekend and Saarah looked like a little lady in all her outfits...though she was also a bit sick recently. BUt better now.

Ally...glad the celestamine sorted it out. Scary! You are lucky to have relief if your eye was already swollen. Usually by then it was too late for me and I had to get adrenaline at casualty because my throat would be closing up and tongue swollen.

I am so annoyed at my endocrinologist! I had blood work done last Wednesday morning. Usually doc would phone me on same day with results. SO Thursday I call and no call back. Friday, same thing. Eventually monday his nurse calls me saying I need to come in, doc cant tell me over the phone what to do.

So i said in the past he would give me script in mean time and then I would come and see him if there was a waiting period for bookings.

Now I MUST go and see him, but there is only appointment 26th October!? So WTF must I go see him about if it isnt urgent enough to warrant meds now?

He was such a nice doctor, but I see now that there is a 2 month waiting period to see him, he hired an assistant nurse, he is obviously in demand now and money is the goal! Cause the consult is about R500 cash!

HI mommies.

First of all, last night I had quite a hectic allergy attack. I think I'm allergic to Myprodol. Woke up not being able to breathe, my left eye was swollen shut and my whole body was itchy. My mouth was so itchy it felt like I had a whole kiwi fruit in my mouth. Took 2 celestamine and my lungs opened about 20 mins later. It was quite scary, especially at 1 in the morning.

Nelria, she did get hold of me but it was too short notice so unfortunately I couldn't help her out.

Lisha, can't believe Shrey is turning 2 tomorrow. From the first of the birthdays it always goes so fast. I'm actually feeling quite emotional!

Shoo, I'm still so doped up on the celestamine. I feel all drowsy!

Hi ladies

So got to work around 11 and catching up with work and posts since then. Boy am I exhausted. Besides waking for a few mins every now and then last night, Shrey & I were wide awake from 1:30 to 4:30!!! First gave him panado, then did luke warm bath and then he just wanted to watch tv. He wacthed Ice Age, then Barney and then a host of other shorther duration animations that we have recorded on the PVR. He still had fever this morning so we went to paed. She says maybe croup or viral infection. His breathing is a bit funny but his chest is completely clear ... hope it stays that way.
DH is with him today but I'll have to take the day off tomorrow.
Oh yes and there is one tooth cutting as well so added discomfort but he isn't complaining of pain.

Yoza how is Buhle? Hope her fever is down.

Pfairy so sorry about Mia's leg but sounds like she's doing very well.

Angelique hope Cole's teeth cut soon.

Vix wooohooo re C sleeping so well. I totally am experiencing the changed preferences on movies. Everytime Shrey demands something different ... one time Ice Age, next Toy Story, then Nemo etc etc

Ladies, Yoza's kids are beautiful, buhle is nice and fat and she looks just like her mother! And SIBA is walking all over the place and is quite tall...he was chasing Cole all over trying to kiss him but Cole just wanted to be on mommy's lap.

Pfairy, so sorry to hear about Mia's fall. Accidents happen so quickly but I am glad that it is nothing too serious.

Vix, I am also a christian but I must say your SIL's reactions are a bit harsh. The other day DH was saying that if we have another child and it's a boy he would like to call him christopher..then I said...we must first wait and see what the child looks like because if he does not have cute cheeks, then he does not deserved that name...LOL how is my cutie pie doing???

also got a bill from 2008 for lea's hearing test WOW thats a schocker - how long after can they still bill u? at the time resolutio was suppose to pay it now they obviously refuse and say it was never covered blah blah but still now i need to fork R500 out? after 2 yrs

viewing a house now now we have a plan just waiting for fish to bite - as my boet sold his place so has money now and no place so we thinkink of picking the house they pay and stay in it till mid next year then we sell our townhouse and loan small amount (i should hopefully work then) then voila we own a huge place and boet has time to build or look in peace and pay no rent - sounds perfect but hey many players in plan so we will see if it realises
