Vix lovely weekend getaway! Gerard was just saying last night he wishes we could conceive our baby in a nice room with candles and flowers....and not the quickies with our daughter in the room as we are made to have now! lol. Shame...he is such a romantic.

We had a good night. Addy slept through. I had a lovely workout last night. I am starting to ENJOY exercise!!!! I cant believe it!

So we're all organised for house sitter so at the weekend we're heading off to Naboomspruit! Can't wait to park my backside and do nothing except sunbathe!

C slept through til 6am this morning for the 1st time in weeks, it felt sooooooo good but then he climbed into bed with us and slept more til 7.30 both me & Elwyn were up and about before him which NeVER happens.

C has given up tarzan, jungle book and Brother bear now in exchange for NEMO or 'fish' as he asks for. He loooooves this DVD, he sits and tells me the colours of the fish, it's so cool! He's laying here (with his dudu of course) on the lounge floor glued to Nemo.

We're going to take C to the Zoo for the first time ever on the long weekend, probably pretoria zoo because we've never been there before. Can't wait for that either.

So, Mia broke a leg. still can't believe it. it was so quick. on sunday she was walking/running and her left foot hit the coffee table's leg and the fell. and with the fell she broke her right leg.

with her crying, I could hear something is wrong, but we thought she was very tired. yesterday morning she couldn't stand on the feet, so I took her to the doctor. The doctor send us for x rays. the x rays confirms the broken leg. just above the ankle. Then dr phoned the "ortopeed". he was in theater, so I had to go the emergencies at the hospital. but the whole time mia was so cute and singing and "talking" and playing (just no walking). the dr said she had a good and clean broke. and the leg will heal nicely. no plaster. he said little people knows when to walk on the feet and when not. it will take about 4 weeks.... (yippeeeeee, hopefully she will be walking on her birthday.......) For now we will be carrying her around. she loves all the attention now.

Hi Vix - way outdid myself this weekend but I survived. You like my photos? Especially of Elmo sick of red icing now......

So, have an opportunity to go away this weekend - a church weekend - and seeing how I only had two orders for Saturday I was glad to receive sponsorship to go. If anyone knows me - we need a break!!! And now I have people looking for cakes for Saturday - 5 days notice!!!! (not you Yozi, I love mid week baking). Anyway have had to say no to one, felt so guilty. (I know you're all going to slap my hand now).

Ally, wow, you're so enjoying your progression after your foodie day, you must be soooo chauffed.

Simone, you go girl. I did day one of cold turkey, had about 6 cups of tea to squash cravings - and used about 3 toilet rolls today, ha ha. I've got about 15kgs to lose. I used to jog but I've just been so out of exercise lately. Being up at 7 and going to bed at 10pm, running around after 5 kids should surely count as calorie burning.

How are all you preggie girls - ooooooo so exciting. I had someone tell me today (who had a baby) that Erin wants another baby. I told her errr no - this is my THIRD thank you but no thank you.
