Hello ladies :)

Don't have time to catch up, had a scan today, all is well, I've picked up 1.5kg which is ok but not as much as I'd been hoping considering the amount I've been eating. I think I'm going to give up on trying to pick up weight becuase I actually feel uncomfortable most of the time because I'm so full and after a month of eating like a horse (I'm serious, I eat masses) and still only picking up 1.5kg its just not worth the uncomfortableness of it all. Gynae says I'm carrying small which I think is hilarious as I've lost count of the number of people that have said over the last week how huge I am lol. I think it must just be because I carried Oliver so small.

I'm convinced its another boy ;) But everyone else says its a girl...only time will tell. I think I'm half convincing myself its a boy so that I won't be disappointed.

Anyways, here's a little pic, the little muck absolutely would not let us glimpse his/her face, everytime Dr tried the hand and or elbow shot over the face, as shown!

Will try catch up and reply tomorrow ;) Night night all.

So, I sold all mia's baby things. Got just over the R5000 for everything. want to buy her a nice bookcase/cupboard I saw at Wetherleys and some other nice things for her big girl room.

she is still sleeping in her bed. but now only in the evenings. not lying in the bed during the day anymore. (my luck ran out.) only fall off once and never again.

can't wait for the summer. want to dress her in dresses.

we were at a lion place on monday. and she played with the lion cub. so cute.

and that all from my side. have a lovely evening. bye....

hi hi all you lovely girls

alot of talking. just love reading all your posts during the day. it really does make my days.

Vix, I love packages. Nice of your dad sending you pressies for the boys. (so nice to say: THE BOYS) and glad your pram dilemma is sorted out. we don't use the pram/stroller a lot but I think with 3 children, they will be in it 24/7.

Zamzie, congrats on the (another) boy. I'm going to a storkparty for a boy next week. any ideas for gifts???????

Leigh, you are really so creative. I wish I lived in the cape. maybe one day. I don't get the WHY questions. Mia doesn't talk a lot. And she still don't say MAMMA. She will laugh and then just to spite me, she will say: Pappa. This girl of mine.

Julz, What exactly are you doing now? (or can't you say for now). Must you interview people before donation or do you have to get people to donate? O and that is a wonderful compliment to get. you are a great mommy.

Christi, what a cheek not to make your hubby the best man. I also didn't want children at my wedding. My wedding was next to a river. one of my cousins drowned in a river. So, I was so scared it will happen on my wedding day. I wanted to remember my wedding day as a happy day and not as sad day. Some people didn't attend because of the "no children" thing. If I had the wedding in a hall or something, then I'll hire babysitters and some entertainment for the kids.

Ally, so glad there is nothing wrong with her legs. Xander had the same. X-rays and everything. at about 3 years his legs were straight. and happy anniversary. so glad you had a fun day.

and o Jo burg ladies..... I am coming to jo'burg. but only for a morning. will be there next Tuesday to apply for the visum for greece. Can you believe we will be in greece next month.

o, and friday is my birthday - friday the 13th..... and I will be 33. not having a party or anything. still saving for greece.

Angie, I will think of your SIL. I really do hope everything will be fine with this pregnancy.

Yoza, Siba is now a big boy for not sleeping with you anymore. hope you took a lot of photos of Bhule eating.

Nicole, can't wait to see the pic of K's outfit.

Mandy, hope the little nose will be dry soon.

Lisha, your weekend sounds like alot of fun. and good for Shrey sharing. Mia don't do the share thing. another child can just look and Mia will say MYNE. but she will share with xander if he gives her biltong.

Leigh- your girls are gorgeous! I think Erin's talking must be influenced by having Bigger sisters. C doesn't know about WHY? yet, he's just learnt 'more' and that's irritating enough right now LOL C's problem is he's at home with me every day and that is it, we see no one else so no other influence to get the language going. Also Elwyn speaks Afrikkaans to C and I speak english so he's still trying to work out what language to use.

I'm so pleased we are going to be able to order cakes from you Leigh!

I've only lived in JHB for 4 years but I was still working overseas for 2 of those so only since I fell pregnant with C have I really 'lived' here, I grew up in Essex in England but only stayed there until I left home at 17 and moved to Blackpool and from the age of 19 I was on tour with various shows so never really had a proper base then until now.

My dad sent over a parcel with some baby clothes from the UK, cute cute stuff and so much nicer quality than what we get here. He sent 2 packs of burp cloths each containing 3 very nice cloths, the sticker said they cost 2 pounds a pack which at the most equates to less than R30 a pack. I see baby sense sell a 2 pack of something that looks identical for R150 I couldn't believe it when I saw it today!

Angie- I'm keeping your SIL in my thoughts! Must be a relief to see baba was O.K! I have sorted the pram dilema, I've realised my one for R1300 is going to be just perfect for what I need. Just still have a million questions to throw Allys way, I'm just throwing a couple a week and soon I'll know everything there is to know!

Ally- I'm so pleased the specialist gave Abi the all clear, still worth the money just for peace of mind I'm sure (and the nice compliments LOL)

Julz- I'm pleased you're into your new job already even though it's a busy one! Soon you're going to be jet setting all over the place! Xxx

Congrats Zamzie! That's so fab! :)

Leigh, JHB is very fast and hectic sometimes. I lived their for a year and I always just wanted to come back to PTA.

ABout the S.E.X thing. We haven't done it much at all this year but it seems I've finally gotten my mojo back. We still don't do it all the time but it's like once a week now. Which is SOO much better. Hopefully soon we'll get it to twice a week. We had some ooh-la-la on our anniversary so maybe tomorrow night again. I find that if I plan it and make myself excited it's much better. I put on my sexiest lingerie during the day and lean over on purpose for C to get a better look at it etc. hehehe

Need to go check on dinner. Making greek meatballs, mash and spinach. Yum!

Love the Tweenies cake, really cute. Am sure there are many people out there who will bake such a fine cake, just hopefully not ripping you off.

Lisha, sounds like your friend needs to buy her lo a padded crash helmet. She must have gotten the fright of her life falling out of the trolley.

Talking of prams, I remember having Charlene and Renee in the double pram. They only fitted in together because Charlene is smaller so they are really now both the same size. Erin is not keen on her pram anymore, she wants OUT. So we let her walk now and she’s pretty good, we’re teaching her that she has to follow us and not to touch.

Thats such a pity about the double pram, I know I used to struggle to get the double pram in some doorways and it was annoying, but out of 100% it only happened about 10%.

VIx, I’m a bit frightened to move up to Joburg to be honest. The pace of life just seems so fast up there. I have only been once to Jo’ies and that was enough for me. Have you lived there all your life?
Anyway for your Jo’bug girls I’m going to set up a package cake box, I’m just working on the courier keeping the box upright and to not eat the cake, mawahahahhahahhahahahah NOT

Thanks Simone and Mandy – it was an interesting cake to do.....

Mandy, glad to see that C is sleeping better. I think my mum wisehd she’d taken out my adenoids years ago.

The girls have been nagging us so much to go to the Spur so we took them yesterday on burger night. My dad paid so I wasn't happy with that - I don't want them to think we sponge on them - you hear of that so often.

We went to baby city today to get a non drip cup for Erin. Found a 360 degrees sippy cup - hope it works better than some of these other cups. We also had a look at booster seats for the girls as spare in our parents cars, that cost R299, which I don't think was a bad price.

Got some cakes coming in the next couple of weeks, thank goodness. Been a tough month this month. Luckily Frans has some overtime being paid out.

DH and I have been getting better with the arguements, though we had a bit of a blowup on Sunday night and he also cried - I think sometimes he doesn't really how sad I am sometimes. I've been catching up on Greys and I have to say I'm not sure its having a negative or positive impact after losing my aunt.

Did I mention that I am taking on my 2 2nd cousins next month in the afternoons. Decided that the aftercare isn't working for my cousin - so it should be interesting. Actually I'm hoping to cut down a bit on the cakes - don't get me wrong - I love doing the cakes but at the moment juggling 3 kids and cakes its tough. So we'll see how it goes.

I read so often about kids who are nearly 2 and only say a few words, am beginning to think there's something wrong with Erin - heck she doesn't stop talking!!!!!!!! I think I might find her some masking tape. Does anyone else get the WHAT? or WHY? questions all the time. And if you get the WHY - do you find yourself answering them. I must be going nuts.

The backache is much better now, though I find I can't always sleep on my side. Though with a cat inbetween DH and I and a cat sleeping right in my crotch at night - I can't MOVE!!!!!!

Ok, so we went to the doc and Abi's legs are completely fine. He says she'll probably go a bit knock-kneed after 2 and then her legs will straighten out. He looked at my legs and said that mine were probably the same as hers and now I have 'beautiful bones' lol LOL LOL. WTF? He's a bit of a quack and that was the easiest R350 he's ever made coz we were there for maybe 6 minutes but at least we know nothing is wrong with my little darling.

Went to Woolies with her after and she just had everyone wrapped around her finger. The manager even gave me 12 cupcakes for free coz she's so cute! Should go more often to get free stuff lol.
