Sorry to answer your question simone - If you know for sure you have ovulated then no you can't fall pregnant a week after ovulation (not usually. It is exceptionally rare to release a second egg a week later).

Having said that there are no hard and fast rules with your cycle so if you are asking if there is such a thing as safe sex then no not really.

EG the pill is only effective if you take it each day, you don't miss one, you don't take certain meds, you don't weigh more than 80-90kg.

Firstly, to anyone who is practicing 'careful' sex LOL maybe you should first read up about how the menstral cycle works exactly and how you ca fall pregnant so you can avoid oopsies. The average woman would ovulate 14 days before her period is due so if you have a 28 day cycle you'll Ov day 14 but if you have a 35 day cycle you're most likely Ov around day 21 so now if you think you're ov on day 14 so you start doing the deed again a week later you're probably smack bang in the middle of Ov. Am I making sense? Then of course you can add into the mix that not everyone is average and I ov'd 17 and 11 days before my period would've been due. To put it honestly unless you are doing the deed during or straight after AF or just before AF is due there's no guarentee you're in the 'safe' zone.

Do you need condoms? I have tons here from when I was on tour (I was the family planning person on tour especially for the gay guys, no one was scared to knock on Vix's door and ask for condoms LOL) and I still have tons so I can send them to you if you would like? O.k a lot of them are different flavours LOL

Doesn't the gov provide free contraceptives here in SA?

Had a silly night. Again. Dylan woke at 1 and came to our bed and then was okay but at 4 he decided he wasn't comfortable so he climbed on the floor and went back to sleep. Neil said leave him, but I couldn't so I put him on the end of our bed and he was happy. Odd child!

I thought that this was toooo cute. Last night DF father came to visit and he was sitting next to me so to tease K he took K's plastic cricket bat and tapped me on the leg, so i acted like i was crying, OMW K ran up to his grandpa and started shouting "NO Stop it!!" and shaking his head and pointing his finger and raising his eyebrows at his grandpa, K then climbed onto my lap gave me a kiss and hug and then said "dudu mama" Oh man it was so sweet how protective he was over me!!

Had a good drop off this morning he was playing with his friends as soon as we got there and when we left he stood by the door waving and smiling and then ran off to play again
