so clearly my head is in a fog of cloud but thanks for all your wishes gals! cant wait for the amnio to be over!

Work has been heeecctic - its a good thing to keep my busy !

but finally we can get there this morn and speak to the expert. He does the amnio in his rooms after doing a better assessment as he can see more, and he checks all abnomalies on the whole baby. At least we will see the sex today ! so excited for that! We are dropping cam off at school really early, driving accross town to morningside by 07h45 for the assessment and then we will definately go ahead with the amnio. Im not as scared of the appointment or proceedure as I am off moving too much for 48 hrs causing a problem for the baby! but Cam will be going to school and hubby will only bring him home at 5 each day. My mom is coming tomorrow and will arrive at lunch time tomorrow so that we can just have a bit of fun. she is missing Cam toooo much! and will make our suppers and generally spoil us! The amnio result takes 2 - 3 weeks.. so a bit of another wait, but this too shall pass and is what it is!~ My boss has been very sweet tryin gto offer me some kind words and support and i think my husband is terrified.. they take out about 2 table spoons of amniotic fluid and test the chromosomes of the baby. If there is an extra one then downs is confirmed.. anyhoo - didnt manage to get to a book shop, but managed to get 2 dvds for today and tomorrow and really just want to LIE STILL completely! Then back to work on friday, so im sure i will come onto moomie to report back soonest!

Vix - hope the boys teething is settling, we miss you here!

Zee - bed booked, super!! how are you feeling - I recall that the end of preg is just sooo uncomfotable!?? what are you doing about house hunting? We have taken a break this week from estate agents and will resume next week with Rentals

Julz - that damn nose, so sorry the recovery is a rocky one! hopefully you will be right as rain soon!

Nicole and lisha - sorry about your necks - that is the worst pain as you use it whatever you do, hope its sorted soon!

nicole - how is your mom and glad you found something to help K sleep

Jess - a nice big boy!! cam was also that big ! i think you win with the biggest i think cam was 9.7at 4.5 months - he has thinned out so much now though, but still probably weights about 16 or 17!!


We on the other hand, dont have a sleepy cam yet, got some work to do after i spoke to anne richardson, but she gave me a page of techiniques to introduce so we will leave that to next week when we are calm and ready for long nights of a new kind of sleep training, but will have to catch up about that when i can

Angelique so great to hear from u! Was wishing and wishing when I got to end of post u were announcing pregnancy:( took us about 8m I think? So I know how u feel...it doesn't become obsessive but I started becoming aware that time was passing me by! Hoping 8m is the lucky number and this is your month!!!!!

Work sounds hectic!

The kids are going through a crazy phase! I know idiot wrong, but I imagine its funny coming from this little guy!I hope Cole's eating improves.

I took a bath and Addison told me to lay on the bed so she can dry me off...I must lay like a 'big girl' she said. Rubbed me full of lotion. Then got blow drier and 'did' my hair. Was cute how serious she was about dressing me and getting my hair dry!

AFM WORK, WORK, WORK, as our annual conferences are coming up in August. Cole needed some reprimanding as he all of a sudden started calling everyone "stupid" or and "idiot" and I really hated it. Otherwise he is doing great but just has a bad weak as far as his apetite is concerned.

Still no luck as far as the TTC is going so if nothing happens by November will visit my gynae again as then it will officially be a full year of trying (even though it feels as if it's been 10 years)

Otherwise just wanted to pop in and say hello and I'm still alive.

Wow good to hear from you Jessica. I think Dylan only hit that mark at 2 years of age. He only weighs 11. 5kg now. lol.

Nicole hope the headaches go otherwise it may be time for an MRI. Not nice at all.

Nose is getting sore now. Odd. Bleeding is less today, but I know there is a big stitch that had to be placed due to an issue and I think it is tugging. Gladly no bruising on the outside and only had a plaster under nose for the first night which was in hospital. I think Dylan is now used to my nose being sore. Wow it is only 7 11 and he is asleep in bed. Neil is playing squash tonight so getting some me time. Really tired as I am not sleeping well. they say the recovery from a sinus op takes months so no improvement yet but not worse than I was.

Zee don't feel bad....seems we've all been doing a bit of a disappearing act! Hope u find a creche soon:) we've found one luckily...close to home...Addy will start in September half day for now.

Julz so glad you're feeling good! Nose bleed sounds hectic...glad u got it under control. Dylan didn't freak out at all when he saw u? I'm assuming u are bruised with plasters?

As for us...we're good! Addison is sweet and naughty! Picks up sticks and call them her 'magic wand' and turns us into witches! Lol. Baby is well...he is moving a lot:) have scan next week and then I get referred to new gynae.

Sorry for my leave of absence here! Just very very busy at work and can't seem to even catch up on weekends anymore. Told Christi today that its kitchen tea, party or stork after each other! Seems as if everyone is either getting married or having a baby...
Any hoo, all are well at home, Z is as adorable as ever, we are creche shopping again since there is no place at the school where she was on a waiting list. They are full for next year. Very dissapointed but still hope I find something great for her. Baby is also well, very busy and we have the 4d next week. Hope he turns before then because gynae says he's not in a great position for a peek! My bed is also booked.
