Ally: hope you get an answer and your lil princess gets sorted. Dont worry atleast she wont remember when she is older and she will be happy that its sorted

one of my aunts twin developed perthus (SP) disease. she started limping for no reaon it took two years to heal.through operations and beinf in a wheel chair for six to nine months. she still limps but not as bad as previously. it was painfull for her (but loved the attention)as the primary school had to change for her needs. built a new toilet for her the class moved downstairs because she was on wheel chair. she had to be lifted to go to the tiolet and had to learn to walk all over again. Nice thing is that kids are resilient and heal quickly.

Abi will be fine. No sad face mummy.

Ally I am so sorry to hear that. I don't know anything about Bount's disease but if docs say it isn't anything serious then I'm sure with the relevant treatment your healthy little girl will be 100% in no time. I know it's easy for all of us to try to comfort you but you will only feel better after you have had that good cry that you are having. Lots of big hugs to you.

Oh Ally- I'm sorry about your crappy news! But whatever the outcome at least you were ahead of the game to notice something and get it fixed whilst she's still young. I'm sure a brace at this age is not going to be nice for her though, I know Anneli's Delano had a leg brace type thing when he was small to correct his club foot but at least then he wasn't mobile.

I'm sure the Dr's will be able to put your mind at ease and maybe it won't be too bad. When will you be able to get an appointment with the Orthopeadic surgeon?

Good on you for noticing it and getting it sorted though, imagine when she's 16 and she says 'mommy, why didn't you fix my leg?' now she can say 'mommy tanks so much for my beautiful legs!'

Google is horrible!!!!! knowledge is power but it's damn scary sometimes too! hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Lisha- as Ange says if anyone can do twins on a budget it's me and i bet if i add everything up i will probably spend less on my twins than most moms do on their second singleton. I will only buy the necessities and bargains at that.

What is scary is the future medical aid bill and school fees etc ouch! but i plan to take up work again properly by the time C goes to school so hopefull money will be better then.

Oh ally, I really hope that it's nothing too serios and if is is..then at least she will be wearing the brace when she is still young and won't be to concerned about it.

Hugs my friend
