Girly - glad your scan went well - our babies seem to be lying in the same position and yes, I went for mostly pink and lilac stuff. The walls are a stonish/natural color with a pink border and all the wood is dark wood. I have pics on my phone, but don't have the cable to download them, so will take some pics on the weekend and download. There is not much left for me to do now, so I keep unpacking and packing her cupboards - DH thinks I am crazy

This weekend DH put up shelving in the garage so his music stuff is all out of the room. Now we need to sort out & make space in the linen cupboard so we can move some of the other hobby stuff into there. And then we'll suddenly be a whole lot closer to getting the room done.

It's usually best to stay in bed when you feel like that. One day in bed can make a world of difference. Take it easy.

Why did you move your scan further out if I may ask?
Sorry to hear about your little boy. Keep us informed about what the doctor says. Is he circumcised?

I am also 24w now and the heartburn has also arrived, but it's soooo bad I dont know what to do. Almost all food causes it to flaire up, and I might as well be breathing fire!

Scan went very well
Kaylee weighs 650grams, and a few days behind her due date but doc isnt worried. She's lying breach, with her head on my left next to my belly button, bum straight down, and legs stretched out in front of her, which is exactly where I've been feeling the movements the most!
Placenta looks good and is on the right wall quite high up.
My friend and her 4yr old daughter came with. Was so cute, she kept wanting to know where the baby was. She just couldnt understand that what she was seeing was the baby. And she wanted to know if she'd hear the baby cry. So cute. Next scan at 28weeks, and will also be booking my bed in the next few weeks

Charnenay its really tough to work from here esp as we dont have a study. But that'll be sorted out by June, so will get easier. Hoping to work from home the last month before my maternity leave, but will see what the boss says.

Girly, thanks for the info on the antenatal classes. the one you guys are going to will probably be too late for me as it seems your last class will be round the 20th July and my EDD is 3 August, but gynae says baby is going to come end July. So, will probably go to Justine at Panorama. I am going to book my bed next week Thursday (YEAH!!!), so will get all the info then.

Ladies, I am so proud of my nursery - almost done, just needs bookshelves and my rocking chair, then FINISH!!! DH bought the wood yesterday for the bookshelves, so he is going to make that on the weekend and I just bought the cutest fairies to go on the top bookshelf - can't wait for DH to finish up so I can put the fairies on Will take pics over the weekend and post on Monday.

Funniest thing happened yesterday - I decided I wanted to buy me Gumboots and I went to get it after work yesterday - looked around and at the 5th shop finally found my "size" (decided to try 1 size bigger than normal) in the color that I wanted. Was so excited when this store had the exact one I wanted in my size after my 4th try. Got DH to help me get my shoes off and get me into the gumboots (all very excited), only to find that the boots only go halfway up my leg because my legs are too fat!!!!!! Boy, did DH and I have a good laugh in that shop!!!! So, no gumboots for me this winter - maybe next year

Girly, how did the scan go - pictures please I am so envious of you 'working' from home today. I would never be able to do that - I am not disciplined enough - I would call my sister (she is on maternity leave) and go shopping

Morning mommies, dont know how i managed to get out of bed this morning, I feel like im coming down with something as my throat is sore and my nose clogged.

Pushed my appointment a week later so its Tue 1st June, hoping this time around gynea will be in a better mood. Having to take my 3 year old to a Urologist(sp) he keep tagging on his winky and saying its itchy, i check it and it seems a bit red skin is a bit tight too.

Im 24 weeks now and my little girl so a very busy bee i wonder if she ever sleeps.

Heartburn started the weekend so i kinda sleep up right.

M2M my scan is at 12, and my friend Rikki (You met her last time) is coming with.
DH says he will try, but its pouring with rain, and he is on the bike so if its raining bad then he might not I'd rather he be safe and dry though.

Its so cold in Cpt today!
I am working from home today as my doctor is up the road and if I go into town it adds 1.5hrs to my lunch break just driving.
But its gonna be difficult as all I wanna do is cosy up under the duvet!
