Morning girls

Happy mothers day for yesterday!!! We had a lovely day with my mom, really special.

Charnenay cant wait to see those pics!

Mina hope you enjoyed Gordons Bay. I lived there for 3 years, I love that place.
When is your next scan?
I have the forms to fill out for the bed booking, so will prob do that in the next few weeks before my next scan. Then I can book my 4d scan too

I'm fighting a cold atm, so not very happy. And didnt sleep till 1am this am and up again at 7.

Does anyone feel like their stomach muscles have been exercised too much? I can hardly stand or walk without my abdomen feeling sensitive.

AFM might be out of a job come maternity leave. Company is looking at closing the doors of this office. But not sure how / when. Guess I'll hear more today. They better not leave a 6month pregnant women in the lurch though. A few stressful weeks lie ahead for me! I'm trusting the Lord that He will provide, and I know that He will. But its not always easy, so rescue tablets for me!

I'm staying over in Gordans Bay tonite, celebrating with the folks Mothers Day here, popped in by my MIL earlier, lil p was kicking away for her other ouma, she so busy today, now too Went to Canal Walk with my lil sister, we watched how to train a dragon...sitting now on the bed on my pc, the life!

Counting down the days till DH arrives 'n my next scan Hoping to book my bed by then n have the gynae sign my forms for discovery 'n about claiming back the money taken from ur medical aid, that's just awesum, that's why i luv this forum to bits

I have a slight pain just underneath my left breast, the bone but I dont think it;s anything to worry about so i just keep a bean bag on there at nite...

Talking bout weight, shoo i've gained tons, dont wanna go there but as long as she's healthy 'n growing 'n kicking, im happy!

Otherwise, a friend of mine's husband does photography and he recently started doing maternity stuff, very unique though cos he did my one friends pics in a field, rather than a neutral background. I loved it.

Sonjat - you have to adopt a different mindset when you move from a security complex/flat to a stand alone house - i unfortunately didnt and paid the price!
I'm over the fear now - just angry at myself mostly!

Charnenay - thanks for the info - i checked out Mr. Price Home at Canal walk that has a small kiddes section, but they didnt have any stickers or boarder. I'm def going to try Game for the boarders - its a steal at 70 bucks. Cant wait to see your pics.

About the maternity shoots - i made a few enquiries early on in my pregnancy and would love to do a shoot - my fiancee suggested i have a portrait done instead - he surprised me one year for my birthday with a lovely pencil sketching of myself using a collection of photographs. If you come across any good deals/photgraphers, please let me know.

Hi Ladies TGIF,

Blessed that a nice Preggy Belly wow can you believe we only got our BFP the other day lol time sure does fly.

Naikza my LG is now 2yrs 3mnth she seems to ba going back to baby stage she had stopped using her dummy during the day and now she wants it all the time and also asks for her bottle i only give it to her at night. The thing i found helps is multi vits especially now that winter is here. The preggies does affect them same there soon will be someone who also needs attention.

Anyone doing professional maternity shoots??

Nikki - not sure where you can get the foam stickies - my sister had them in her LG's room, but that was 2 years ago and she got them from Mr. Price Kids' store in Canal Walk - that was such a fantastic shop and then it closed You might be able to get them at a Treehouse or maybe try a crafts type shop?? I was very impressed with myself, considering the amount of money I spent on the nursery. I usually go overboard, but most of what I used was REALLY affordable and I found loads of bargains. I bought most of my decorating pieces from Mr. Price's Home Store and a few things from the Baby Room on High Street - they have the most amazing things!!! but thye are a bit expensive, so I only got things there that I could not find elsewhere. I used a border on the walls which I bought at Game for R70 to do the whole room! I have heard a few people complaining about it though, but i have had no issues - I think it only works with certain paint on the wall. I bough the daisy one and it works perfectly, my sister bought the disney princess for her LG and the boat theme one for her LB, her LB's one is perfect and has been on the wall since October, but her LG's did not work

When I post my pics on Monday, I will list where I got the items from and, if I can remember, what it cost me.
