Oh Pink, i wanted to ask..... hows Abbey? is she able to sit again?

Kaelyn has a bath at 6:30 and generally her bottle then at 7 and sleep after that... if she is up later as you say she geta a second breath that lasts till... i dunno the nest night! and i just know thats what is going to happen at DH's mom. thats why i am saying she does it right or never again.

The issue with going to bed so very early is that at 6am she is wide awake and rearing to go but i have now started blacing toys on a stool next to her crib and that seems to buy us another 45 mins or so. For now that is, when the novelty of trying to get them into the crib wears off its back to 6.

I know i am lucky with support, i also have K's godmom, and an aunt and uncle that would love the oppourtunity.

If you need I am willing to look after her for you in a pinch, i really would be happy to... anytime... the only issue is its a long drive.

Kerry - LOL.... at least you guys have two sets of grandparents here in jhb to take care of your K

DH and I have no one and its hard... we have our nanny who is very good with K... second best to us taking care of her, she knows her routine etc. but costs double if we had to ask her to baby sit on a weekend...

Kerry you so lucky that K goes to bed so early, my K goes anything from 7:30 - 8pm, but 8 for sure, I take no prisoners, I really want in bed by that time, come hell or high water. otherwise she gets a second breath if we leave her to play and then she gets Hyper. then its a problem to make her sleep.....

Yep the FNB soccer stadium.

Originally Kaelyn was spending saturday night with my parents... which is cool coz she has a few times before and they give her her routine and...

Then DH's mom threw her toys out the cot because in typical child manner (even though she didn't) "I asked first" and "how could you" and "you just don't want me to see my grandchild" I swear two year olds behave better!

Anyway to make peace we agreed to let her look after K while we go out for supper tonight. We intend fetching K an hour after her bedtime because This granny has her own ideas about how to bring up a child and following our loose routine just isn't the type of thing she agrees with. Basically if K isn't asleep when we get there it isn't happening again.

DH and i know full well that K cannot possibly stay up till 8 she is miserable and tired usually by half past six. Thing is if you don't put her in her crib and walk away she will not go to sleep. If i am in the room she doesn't go to sleep, she just lies there tossing and turning and staring at me.

Pink - Phew sounds like you live for Ballet at the moment! Please have Iz's ears checked... off balance could mean an ear infection and you don't want to let that go un-noticed!

DH and i also download series - we have house, medium, csi, ghost whisperer, ncis... and a few others that elude me at the moment.

We download series, but VERY few and seldom (I do it at work, since we have uncapped and boss doesn't mind - will have to make another plan soon)

At the moment we are watching mentalist, but still busy with season 3 (so no spoilers ). Where do you download from? (need a good source with torrents)
