Oh WOW... you ladies chatted up a storm while i was gone!
Sher - She is so adorable! I love the dress... she looks like a real princess! Little Kaelyn also isn't a fan of having her face or hands wiped... so she doesn't get cream.
Robyn - SHARK attack! Oh my word! Will have to go see if its on news 24...
Sonay - Landed on painkillers for 2 and a half weeks so just couldnt keep the breast feeding going, but little miss is only really having 2 and a half bottles a day at any rate so it isn't sooo bad. I must say i miss it in the mornings. Yes my mouth is more or less healed, still a bit swolen and tender, but nothing that hurts anymore.
We tried the forward facing car seat a month or so back and she seemed to hate it even more than the rear facing car seat so we put it away again, but alas she waqs getting too big so last weekendwe decided to bite the bullet and move to the forward facing. now that she can see out the window she seems to really love it! She happily sits there looking out the window... i even get to sit in the front of the car now, fancy that
Cols - distraction gets them started but i promise in a few days he will decide to do it willingly... and then all hell breaks out... suddenly the toilet is only a few steps away from your bedside table... and he can most likely reach the flusher! (I only warn you because K threw her sleepy teddy in there the other day... and was about to flush when i saw...
Pink - Good luck with the new venture... i think it will keep you busy, it sounds like a great deal of fun actually... there is a shop like that near us and they were selling dummy chains like the baby sense ones for R120... they sold them like hot cakes. and i looked at them they would cost hardly anything to make. but because they had skull and cross bones, or lace or... on people loved them. I bought one for K so that her dummy would stand out from the other babies ones at creche... then the other weekend our dog chewed it up
Sorry for being MIA, it was a really hectic week, monday evening my aunts dad passed away... he was an awesome man and had so much life in him i still cant believe he is actually gone it came as such a shock. And then wednesday K kept falling at creche so the teacher and us decided to take her to the doc to see about an ear infection, so we put her in the car and she started throwing up on the way to the doc ... it went on all night, she couldn't keep the antibiotics down, wouldn't drink her milk, nothing. luckily i think she kept enough down that she threw up only twice on thursday morning and then it was over. Then we had the funeral on friday, which was awkward coz K was still a little miserable. But she is fine now, all is well again.
Kealyns new thing is sitting on steps... she will walk up to a stain turn around,,, back up until she feels it against her legs and plonk down.... so so sweet... she then claps for herself, stands up and tries again...

oh and also the open mouth kiss.... she will be playing on the other side of the room and suddenly she comes running up to you with her mouth open for a kiss... too cute
