Morning ladies!
Feel so much less sleep deprived today- even tho I woke up well before I needed to, I just snuggled and listened to the rain.

Noster, so glad your LO is doing so great, what a nice big baby!

Skyler - good luck with the induction plans

Juandre - enjoy your scan today - its great!

GBbay, Nelria - thanks for the support, I guess its just standard nerves, but Im going to prepare myself for a 21st C-sec date as well.

I need to go to the doc today or tomorrow, I gained 2kgs in one week after keeping my weight to 4kgs the whole of my pregnancy so far. It could be a sign so I must get it checked. If not today then Im going in tomorrow - just my GP.

morning ladies

Eve - as far as I know the disposable panties they talk about is the one's g mentioned from carriwell u bay them at all baby stores and i think they around R50 for 2 but the best description for them is orangebag panties as they are literally made of netting and therefore not comfortable - big yes but stupid to pull up and down with elastic cutting in - thats why I am opting for granny panties from pep as they cover same area just more comfortable - u going to toss it all in anyway so gett what u reckon u would feel comfy in

oh by the by on that subject brett had to help me the 1st change and the netting ones so unflattering so i got a bit down him seeing me in them LOL

Eloise - U have done it before being older doesnt matter girl (my mum had 7 naturals last one at 45 after a gap of 10 yrs :) - weigh up what u would cope with more the monitored pain (epidural) or the cut healing for 6 wks?

Morning ladies,

Nadia - Congrats on the birth of your boy. I am also jealous that you can hold your LO already. But hey, time will come for all of us. Just some sooner than later.

So went to the dr yesterday. He said everything is still going fine. Enough amniotic fluid, little 'verkalking' of the placenta, the blood supply to and from Chloe is fine and the resistance in the umbelican cord(?) is low. Chloe is weighing a whopping 2.7kg at 33weeks.
According to her measurements (length and weight) she is already at 35 weeks. My cervix is also still closed, so no worries about pre-mature birth as yet. BP is fine, as well as my urine. In total, the dr said it is a very state to be in this far in pregnancy.

Chloes bags are packed 100%, mine - evertything is ready, just not packed.

Seeing the dr again on the 20th and the last time on the 8th of June. Then C-sec the 14th June.

Have a nice day ladies!

Hey ladies

Just a quick pop in to say hello. Was teaching today so couldn't log on and also teaching again tomorrow. Need to get some studying done but thought I'd say hi first.

Nadia - congrats on your little man :)

Piles - I have them bad as well - gynae told me to just use Preparation H and it really works (stinks, but works)

Question re panties - Medi Clinics give you 2 pairs of molly pants - does anyone know if those are the disposable ones or what? I'm planning to buy cheap granny panties so I can throw them away but was given some advise and told to buy disposables because they cover your whole tum and also go quite far down the leg so they don't ride up. Where do I get those and how much are they? How many do I need?
