Lucy- most people use the stuff supplied at the hospital. Like you say less washing which will be very good in those first few days home.

Hey guys

Just heard Netcare gives you the clothes for baby, you just supply personal items if you want like receiving blanket & hoodies etc... otherwise they do too... Now should I go their route or should I bring my own baby clothing (already packed anyway).... what do you think? Just thinking less washing when I get home and more outfits available if I dont use... dunno

Wow G Baby you really have lots to think about.

I only have to pack one set of clothes for going home in, a blanket and a dummy for baby as the hospital supplies everything else.
Even for me it's just Pj's and personal toiletries. Our midwife at Antenatal also said to take a clock with to time feeds so I have got one and put new batteries in it.
I am sure you have been told this but pack a pen and paper as well to write down what happens whilst you are in labour eg: 6pm- 2cm, 7pm- 3cm, 12am- epidural etc. That way you will have a record of everything and will not forget.
