Giggles you can get it just about anywhere but make sure it is the baby one and only give her 2.0ml the first time, just to make sure LO handles it fine.

Hi everyone,

Jamie and I starting Moms&Babes again today. My mom will be taking over when I get back to work in less then 2 weeks time. I am looking forward to going back, but scared, seeing as I am going back into a new position.

Jamie was a bit nigly last night, but seemed to pass quickly.

Giggles, you are right about the flying, I was scared as well, but don't be your baby will surprise you. NO dummy, LO should swallow on take off and landing, so boob is fine. I used Nurofen for babies as Jamie was over 12 weeks and it works so much better than Panodo. Good luck with the flying.

By the way I am not a good flyer and Jamie was better than me...

giggles - thanks for asking. Zarika is so much better after the op. My hubby and I laughs every night at her, she interacts now with us and makes the cutest and funny noises, she is just adorable. We are however still struggling with the reflux and hope it will be something of the past real soon.

Sorry, I don't really have any advice when flying with a baby. I have heard about LO sucking on something when taking off and landing for their eardrums. Best of luck to you.

Maureen - congrats on the anniversary for monday. I am glad you enjoyed your holiday. I would love it if we could get away soon. I am also wondering if I should take Zarika to daycare a week before I go back to work, just to get her used to the daymother. I am only starting again on the 1st of October. Sorry to hear about UIF offices' mixed up. I used Tums2Mums and had to 2 payouts already, they are really great!

I could also do with sum tips for flying with my little one, I am flying to Durban in a weeks time and very scared. I was told I should give her panado syrup before we board, put cotton wool in her ears and get her to suck on the dummy or booby during take off and landing? Please let me know if this is correct????

Hello Ladies,

So I am back from Cape Town. Had a lovely time with friends and family, except my mother in law, who really is a big pain in behind.

Jamie was angel on the airplane. He slept all the way there and on our way back he was awake but didn't cry once. So proud of my little man, everyone on the plane couldn't believe that he was so good.

So we are painting out house out. Luckily it will be finished today.
I also started my diet on Monday and so far so good. Will weigh myself next week Monday for the first time in a while.

So it is my 2nd wedding anniversary on Monday. We really don't have money to do anything, so I am just going to make us a nice dinner. Will do something when I get my first paycheck again.

Jamie is getting his shots on Friday and then on Monday he is starting daycare. I only start work on the 6th of September but decided I needed a week alone, as I didn't have this before he was born. I need sleep as I have been doing to many things at one time.

As far as UIF, the offices screwed up and now I am still waiting to get paid. I mean I start work in a week and haven't seen a cent in 4 months.

Jane - sorry that your milk dried up! Glad your flight went well though. We are flying to Upington in December and I'm already making a list of the things I need for Connor - it's 1 and a half pages already. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Cape Town meets - our play dates are going really well and they are so much fun. Just wish we could ALL get together!

I'm off to a Gymboree trial session today, with Seleste. Looking forward to it.
