My ML also started yesterday... I am so relieved... and also bored already LOL Got so much planned in this upcoming week tho, so hope I get around to it.

My bag is half packed but everything else is sorted....

Am a little nervous as hubby has to go out of town for one night on Wednesday. His leaving wed afternoon, and will be back Thurs afternoon, but I am so parnoid something may happen... I really hope nothing does. I will have someone staying with me though....

My ligament/muscle pain is really bad, and the pressure down there is definately building..... I do hope that I last till my caesar date on the 21st...

Newbie, you need to take it easy as well plz and try not too worry too much about the surgery... when you in the operating room your main concern is your baby, and one you see him/her, everything else is just a blur I remember lying there while they were closing me up, thinking goodness gracious guys can we make this snappy plz! I want to see my baby! It is literally like everything else doesnt matter anymore..... so dont worry, you will be fine

I have also been put on bedrest as baby was in a bit of distress. All good though...

I am still not up and running, having issues with my laptop, so can only check in now and again.. YAY I am on maternity leave.. Makes life so much better...

Ashbabe - glad all is well... Sorry I have been so quiet. BTW love your pics, you look gorgeous..

Anyhow here is an update from my 38 week app
Can you believe, just 9 more days to go..
Not sure if it will be sooner, although with all the Braxton hicks and the aches and pains, I sometimes think otherwise.

Wow it feels like this time as flown by… And I must admit, I will be a little sad in a sense to see my preggie tummy go.. and not feeling her kicks anymore at 3am.. lol

Baby Snyman was weighing a total of 3.112kgs on Wednesday, 7 July 2010 and
Dr estimates she will be at least a 3.3kgs baby, a great size!!! All is perfect and healthy, my cervix is still closed although it is softening and baby is engaged. Although we will still be going ahead with a planned
c-section on 19 July 2010 at 8am.

The internal was horrible, really uncomfortable..

As for me, I have been put on bed rest and told to take it easy as my blood pressure is a bit high and I have a little trace of protein in my urine. However not too much, so not too worried, just trying to take it easy. BTW it’s not that easy to lie in bed all day, did it Thursday and its strange when you don’t feel sick just to lie there.

Other than that, all the bags are fully packed, room is complete and all
the clothes are washed. Everything is ready for her arrival; however I
must admit that I am extremely nervous about the birth. I am freaking out about being cut and being in the hospital. Any advice...

Anyhow I hope everyone is well and I will keep you posted on all as soon as I can.

Looking forward to hearing more stories on all the little ones births.

i am starting maternity leave today is my last day so i am not sure how often i am gonna be able to log on during the leave as my hubby takes the 3g cards etc with him to work

i am so flipping excited that i am finished work today, u know yesterday my boss called me and told me to go clean another ladies desk?
i asked why she cant clean it, she is at work FYI etc and so no i blunty refused and i will not clean it either before i leave, she sits there not me!!!

Then we usually finish at 2 on a friday and they making me work til 4.30 bunch as %$#@#%
but hey i have 6months of peace and quiet without them

Hubby says he feeling very jealous, so i said well feel free to get pregnant and carry all this weight, give birth etc and he just looks at me, think he has forgotten what its like to have a new born again as well as after we had chloe he went to the UK for 6months so by the time he came back she was eating and crawling etc!! this time, he in for a shock i rekon, haha

all the ladies who's last day at work today i know its newbie and was also vicky but she started yesterday, vicky how r u feeling??

Hallo ladies,

So went to the gynea this afternoon, and the c-section has been booked. Monday morning at 6am I have to book in at the hospital. My c-section will be the 1st / 2nd one of the day. My LO's weight was 3.3kg which means he picked up about 500g in 1 week. On Monday we I will be 39 weeks and 1 day.

Hi ladies im gud just popped to say hi, congrats to Fay new mommy, the feeling of holding your lo is just out of this world my fiance said i dont even look at him anymore when i talk to him "jealous" lol.... he is too cute i just keep on holding him and playing i dont see time to fit anything else .... :blu sh:

awe hun, i feel for u. plse dont be stressing so far as well and picking up heavy things etc i sure hope that u can get someone to come help u cos its not just packing up, its packing up and repacking, in between giving the new place a nice new scrub and then sorting out all your stuff!!!

Ashbabe: I am 36.5 weeks. Baby will be born at 38.5 weeks on 20 July via c-section.

Another spoke in the wheel for us. Our landlord is moving back to Pretoria and gave us one months notice, so we are moving out on 31 July - Baby will be 11 days old. Now the packing starts. When I am supposed to be nesting, I have to move out. How about that. We had a contract until November, but the contract had a clause which stated that either parties could give each other 1 months notice - so here we are. But very inconsiderate of them. Hubby told them we are delivering on 20 July, but they just replied that they were unaware of our situation and that they desperately needed to move back into their property. We have found a place, but still - now I have to start packing before baby arrives. VERY NICE!!!!
