I personally believe in VBAC maybe for baby 2 but not convinced when there has already been 2 cesaers.
You must be excited to be having your baby in less than 2 weeks!!!!!

However, since you are already experiencing what could be show, maybe do phone the nurses because you might just be going into early labour?? it may be the VERY beginning stages but you dont want to land up with stress, rushing around for an emergency cesaer. so better to just call and find out, perhaps you'll be having baby a little earlier than planned!

meags- no not a lot just a little on paper. very light in colour... more pink than anything.

unfortunately i would ve loved to have tried for vbac but 1st was emergency due to going into distress( something due to not progressing into birth canal) and was over 4kgs so they told me i was too small. i know now that that a stupid reason, but he was in distress and we did what we needed to do. 2nd one was elective but suggested by gynae due to there only being a yr between the two- and apparently they had complications in theatre with stitching me up ( i dont know the details)i was in theatre for almost an hour instead of the normal 30 mins or so. so this time i have been told to have csec again and due to me haveing sterilisation at the same time ive accepted it. i am scheduled for my c section in 12 days. the 20th july.

vicky you can have show now, it's not too early. but that doesnt mean baby is on the way!!
sometimes you have show 2 weeks before baby makes it's appearance

was it a lot of blood or only blood on the tissue when you wiped?

as for the BP, signs you need to be EXTRA careful of are:
blurred vision
headaches
protein in your urine
bleeding (more than just on the tissue)

the headaches are sometimes accompanied by blurred vision and they are quite intense headaches.

some labours are more back pain than pain in the front by the uterus
are you going for a VBAC or cesaer again?

I think you could always phone the nurse and just get her opinion too.
rather be safer than sorry and they are so use to people having a million questions and concerns so they won't be annoyed/irritated with your call

I am no mediacl expert Vicky but look at our situations - not exactly normal is it?

at least we are now 36 weeks and 37 weeks so we are at least alot safter than at 31 weeks.

Call now and just get a piece of mind, as meags says they might wanna keep u and then u could be there a while but at least then u know u have all the support u need...

i suppose it will be better to give you a break down ( short version of my pregnancy) i had high bp at 17 weeks.. had a week off work.. felt better symptoms sort of dissapeared except for the headaches, but put this down to having encaphylitus the year before..(as the drs said the h aches would not be better for atleast the next year-2 years or so.) i went in to hospital for a check up at 32-33 weeks (around 9th june) and was admitted.. had a bladder infection which brought on contractions. luckilly they managaed to clear the infection and the preterm labour stopped. ive been fine since. except had gynae visit last week wed and my bp was up again. 145/90 previous visit was fine visit befor that was 140/98 ( but the thing is my stupid gynae does not seem interested or worried at all) the nurse said to me we will have to watch your bp but gynae never mentioned anything. i am quite swollen , have been for last week or so.. cant put my watch on anymore. i have started experiencing back ache again now this morning but no actuall contractions /cramps this morning its very weird. this is my third baby but last two were caeasars and never experienced anything like this so feel quite stupid..... (oh she definitely has dropped) as everyone at work is seeing it not just me.) i think i will give it a couple of minutes if the backache doesnt subside ill spk to the nurses at my gynaes rooms and explain wats going on. ( is 36 weeks not too early for this to be happening???)

vicky it sounds like show...its your choice if you want to go in for a check up as if you are 1cm dilated, they may want to keep you in...and then it's a LONG wait!!
