I am doing my doula certificate and wanted to know if there are any mommies in Joburg who want a doula?

I need to attend 10 births for my certificate, so I do not charge for this attendance

Please let me know!
I am also a midwife so for those having a natural birth, I can give a second opinion if the doctor/midwife is saying you need a c-section.

ps...I am away from 19-28 July

Hello everyone!!

Sorry I've been a little quiet but this week has been a little hectic!

Tuesday night DH went to the soccer so I was alone at home with LO, was quite a challenge!

Wednesday night went to watch Eclipse, with a friend, I loved the movie and yes the screaming little teenage girls were working on my nerves as well, but in all fairness Jacob Black's abs was worth it LOL

Thursday night was just too tired to log on after work. Our guests from Slovenia have left, so at least I have my home to myself now.... catch up and things....

These last few days have been really hard on me too hey. Was 35 weeks on Wednesday, and it seems like all pain has increased 3 fold! There is sich little space in my womb now and when LB moves, its actually painful. Have been exp really bad ligament pain and once I lie down, I have to ensure that I am not going to get up again for a long time, it is just too painful! Feels like my bones are being dislocated from my joints LOL

My bladder is also always full, and feels like LB is lying on my bladder! he has started dropping now, and I can very clearly see how much lower he is lying...

My heartburn comes and goes, its like one night on and then one night off, but when it comes, it comes hectically!! My bags are not packed yet, but I want to buy me a nice bag first have everything which needs to go into the bag, lol just need the actual bag. Was very nicely told not to buy a bag, as "someone" would be getting me a bag soon So I am assuming that its a gift from one of my surprise baby showers

Up till this weekend, my poor LB had only but a jacket to his name LOL but I went out and got some vests, and growers, towels, blankets, got a chest of drawers as well... so feel a little better now, at least if he comes early he will have something to wear

Tomorrow I am off to the Germany and Argentina quarter final. It is at 4 so shouldnt be home too late, and then have a braai I need to go to on Sunday.

Weekends seems so rushed these past few weeks, so much to do in so little time. Not sure if I mentioned this, but DH and I just bought a new house as well, and we move in Sept.... so there's all that still to sort out. We had to buy because currently we living in a 2 bedroom house, and once LO#2 arrives, this house will be too small. Actually the house already feels too small LOL with my big tummy and all.

Well thats my update for now

Last week of work next week, and gynae app on tuesday.......
