sindy 2 weeks, OMG i didnt know its that soon!

well newbie, i am also taking out on rob and u know i am now feeling a bit bad, i think i have realized that i am taking it out on him cos he is the closest thing to me at the moment and its just easier as i cant take it out on the world!

anyways, i have decided that i am making mac and cheese for supper and i am gonna do enough now so we can have for tonight and tomorrow LOL.

Fathers day on sunday? what u ladies got planned??

any of u started with freezing meals or anything? i dont knwo what recpies freeze well and i am just worried cos i dont want the pressure of having to cook etc after the hospital what are ure ladies planes???

JO funny enough my gyne doesnt do the heart beat at every appointment either, next time i will be sure to ask, i just didnt realise that today she didnt do it

Newbie, I also wish I was on Maternity leave :
( but I've been booked off today and tomorrow. Have to go back to work on Monday, my ML only starts on Friday 25/06 unless my gynea decides otherwise.

Jaundre's photo's also looks like a c-section to me, we'll have to wait for her to tell us her story.

I cant wait for my LO so excited now, knowing it is just over 2 weeks then I'llbe holding my LB, yeahh!!!!

ashbabe - hugs right back to u as well..Glad u and baby are well, and I wouldnt worry about the weight, if dr says all is well, then just be happy all is well.. I can imagine that u hate being on antibiotics, any reason why it is taking so long to clear up.. Nt sure if Juandre had natural birth, I remember seeing some pics on facebook and it looked like a c-section.. nt sure..

Jo_C - as for me I am crazy and just a little brave.. haha. I am very teary and have cried alot. and I am angry with the world, especially hubby.. He even came home at lunch to talk to me.. lol.. Anyhow I explained that I need him around more, so lets see.. As for ur holiday glad u had fun. Sorry about ur gynea!! My one checks the heart beat at each app.. I am very very happy with her.. Where abouts do u stay again, I can give u her number, she is brilliant.. Although she is on leave now. Apparently the other gynea at netcare blaauwberg is just as wonderful.. Let me know..
I would just try and remain calm and u will know if there is a problem. A mom always knows.. If u feel uneasy, even if its once every 2 days, go to the hospital to check it out.. Big hugs and hope u feel better soon

Sindy_D - lol wish I was on maternity leave, I find alot to do when I am at home.. lol. As for me crying, yes I know exactly what u mean. I am feeling so sorry for myself.. . Chin up, lets both try and feel better..

JO_C: That is scarry. My gynea checks LO's heartbeat with every check up. Last time baby's heartbeat was 170bpm, which I think is very high but my gynea doesn't seem worried so I shouldn't be. I would insist on having them check the heatbeat with every visit. You are paying for his service so insist on him doing it properly.

I am so bored at home, OMG even with DSTV there is nothing to watch Cant even go do some shopping DH took my car keys with him to the office to make sure I keep my ass at home. So the heart palputations are a side effect of the meds, that are suppose to relax my uterus. guess I have to take them, not happy about that.

Newbie I'm sure it's a lot of hormones and the fact that you are not feeling yourself. I found that because I'm not sleeping well and in constant pain I'm also very teary (I'm usually not a tearfull person) now DH can just look at me funny and I start balling my eyes out, poor man doesn't know what to do anymore, so now he just cuddles me and says "it's ok"

We only have a few more weeks to go, we can do it. Hang in there!!!
