January 2010 mommies

Good morning ladies,

Hope everyone had a nice evening. Had a nice lie in this morning, only had to get up at 07h30 because we had a clinic appointment at 09h00 and I did not have to go to work beforehand. Zani slept nicely last night as well. Only woke up at 01h20 and then again at 06h30, put her in bed with me and we snoozed until 07h30. Was pure bliss! I missed snuggling with my baby in the mornings!

Zani weighs a whole 6,8kg and is 64,5cm long. WOW! My baby has grown so much! Also can’t believe she will be 6 months old on Sunday. Just the other day she was this tiny little thing, now she has all these little personality traits that are just too cute for words.

Juanita, Zani also does the whole open mouth kissy thingy with my mom and myself, but not so much with DH. She did kiss him the other day and he was so excited about it. She also gives these French kisses (tongue and all!) and you just have drool over your whole face afterwards. Lovely!

Our clinic appointment this morning was for a feeding consultation and from the week after next we will be introducing starch into her diet and then after that meat. Don’t know how she is going to eat all this stuff, but we’ll see. I’m already making lists and schedules to accommodate all the extra cooking etc. although I think when she starts the meat she can eat what we eat, so that should make it a bit easier.
Anyway, back to work (although I have not even started work this morning)

Keep it cos he might want to at a later stage. Jade still fits in it!

I bought this fancy schmancy swing chair for Troy and he prefers a el cheapo I got and used for Jade! Oh well.

T wont sit in his bumbo seat anymore, keeps on pushing himself out with his legs.

Yes I need to pop into Babycity and get bumbo seat tray and some other stuff too.

Well just cos he does something for me doesn't mean he is going to get something in return! He should be doing it cos he wants to.
