Have not spoken to you in ages! Glad to hear all is well except for the rash on Ethan's bum.

Zani also got terrible teething nappies that use to burn her bum something terrible. I know that Juanita said that Leandi also got it very bad after her stint in hospital.

Juanita used maizina and she said it worked a treat as it kept the moisture at bay. She would put on a bum cream (lucoderm works great) and then sprinkle the maizina over that.

I had to take Zani to the clinic as none of the creams worked and they gave me a gel like salf to put on before I put on her bum cream. It worked great and cleared up the rash in a matter of a couple of days. I just can remember the name (starts with a d). I'll have a look tonight and get back to you tomorrow.

Have your tried medaspor or Lucoderm (hope i spelt it right)

Hi all

I haven't been on the thread for ages ( work related) and now I see that half the old gang is gone. such a pity because I could really do with some advice so whoever is still out there can someone please help.

Ethan is battling with a very bad nappy rash, its on his legs and on his penis even. At first I thought it was because I changed from Pampers to Huggies Gold but when I noticed the rash we changed back to Pampers. Its been two weeks now and he's still got it really bad. I've tried Fissan paste and Sudocrem and this morning I read that I can use Maizena as well. Anyone ever used this and is there something else I can also try. I do think its part of the teething as he got both bottom teeth at once.

Otherwise everything is still going very well for us, he's learning to crawl but my big boy is extremely lazy. You will put a toy infront of him thinking that will motivate him to go forward but he will rather find another way of getting the toy or just leave it and find something else to play with. LOL

We're going for the 9month immunisation end of the month and I'm so scared that he will then get measles immediately.
