You guys are making me feel like a bad parent!!!! i do purity, but have noticed that she does not like it. so what ever we eat, she eats... i mash it and give it to her!!!! mostly veggies and mash. She gets a piece of biltong to chew on almost every day and a marie cookie... I don't have the time or energy to cook loads of mini meals!!!

My weekend was great fro a change!!! Friday was Amandalynn'a schools concert. A Model show. IT was lovely. i was such a proud mommy!!! Went to the tuck shop to by a drink during the show adn the women there asked me if i was Amandalynn's mother... i obviously said yes. yes is the aftercare tacher at the school and is very impressed with my daughters good manners... Im still so proud!!!!!

Saturday i went out with my best friend , we watched the ruby and had wine. Sunday was family day and it was very fun.

I know exactly the pasta you are talking about. Think I will give it a go after she has gotten used to the lamb and beef (next week).

Elsa, you must try the chicken with apricots and sweet potato - simply delish!! And the "one pot chicken" is very good too! Made Zani some lamb stew yesterday and it seemed to go down nicely, only had to disguise the last couple of bites with some pear Next week we are having the "first beef casserole". I like to give her the same thing for a week or so, that way she gets used to the taste of the stuff. After all the protein, we are moving on to starches! A whole new experience!! Oh, and I made the blueberry, plum and pear fruit and it was simply devine! Mommy wanted to eat it all by herself, but had to give Zani a taste

Juanita - we (and by we I mean ME!!) are getting a VW Tiguan! I'm so excited I could almost pee in my pants!

Bruises are discoloring now but doesnt hurt anymore which is good.

Tyler has tried the Pasta, Spinach and chicken and loves them all! Hasn't had the lentils yet.

Christelle, I bought the pasta from Woolies. They have a kiddies range that is Dinosaur shaped which is Gluten Free. I just Pureed the pasta together with the sauce. The recipe says you must use little start shapes but I couldnt find that.

Hi everyone,

We had a nice relaxing weekend – just stayed at home mostly (the weather in CT was crappy ) and we made a nice big fire and we were just sitting on the carpet and playing. Such fun!

Don’t know if I told you ladies, but they found the car that we wanted in the colour that we wanted! So we took it for a test drive on Saturday and it was great! Will only be getting it on Wednesday, but at least it is better that 4 months!

Elsa, I’m going to ask some really dumb questions now, so please bear with me!! What pasta shapes did you use? Did you give it whole or did you puree it?

Juanita – how is the new car driving? How does Leandi like it? Oh, and how are the bruises?

Jems – glad to have you back! Will you be a regular this week?

Aribeth – How are the kiddies? Are all the fevers gone now?
