Juanita, I feed her porridge a about 18h30, the bath her a 19h15 and then she gets boobie.

Don't know if it will be better if I change the type of porridge I give her?

Ok Stellie, sorry dont have a answer on that one for you.. Leandi also takes chances. i will give her something that she has eaten hundreds of times before and then she will pull her face, but i just sit in front of her and smile and say yum yum and then shes back on track. What time are you feeding her, before or after her bottle??

Zani refuses to open her mouth when I try and feed her. Now I have hubby standing next to me doing all sort of silly things to distract her and as soon as she smiles, in goes the spoon. But she is getting very clever, we only get a grin now, no more open smiles! I never knew it would take so long to give porridge to a baby!

Hallo, not on leave...just suffered from internetlessness today, was a tedious day indeed-damn Telkom did maintenance work on the lines without telling anyone.

Stellie, I was T's face with aqueous cream, just put the cream on his face, leave it there for a minute or two and then wipe it off with a face cloth.

Juanita-that is too cute about the sippy cup, must try and get T to start using his...he is not big ont he water, wonder if my MIL is giving him any (I haven't been?)

I have had such a busy day with the invitations. had to burn the pages around the edges with a candle...and tomorrow I have to melt the wax and stamp it with our logo. have to finish it this week! Well almost done at least. I am so tired today.
Bismarck slept in his own room and I refused to pick him up or take him to our bed. Went to feed him downstairs and he fell asleep again, now if I can keep this up then great! Was so nice to actually have space in my own bed and to cuddle with BF!
Going to MIL for supper tonight whoo hoo
At least I dont have to cook!

PS: My friend got engaged this morning!
Its also her birthday today! I am really so jelous. I thought it would be me before her but ja! They havent even been together a year but she is expecting his child so ja! Im just gatvol of waiting, but at least BF and I talked about our wedding last night. Cause I went to the market and there were such nice things for weddings. He said that we should move our venue. He doesnt think a farm is going to be suitable but then I want something similar! He said he loves how excited I get when I talk about it...!

Jems, they tried doing it now but he doesnt actually speak yet so he doesnt get the concept of weeing in the potty. They are Afr but talk to him in Eng and the nanny speaks to him in Sotho, hence he doesnt speak yet. So they failed miserably and just left it. now the new excuse is that its too cold. i say put a heater in the bathroom, your not going to leave lb unatended so whats the problem??

SIL newest saying is that she hasnt seen a grown man that still wears nappies or is still on the bottle, my saying is, its because their moms potty trained them!!

Hi stellie, Thanks for the compliment. I also just wipe lg face with a facecloth. also i only put aquas cream on after her bath, if i use something else she gets little pimples??
PS: Just keep on giving Zani her kossies, remember, you 2 need to learn each others way now. It takes them a while to start eating nicely, its new for them also!!

I also just use a warm face cloth to wash Troy's face. That's all they need.
