January 2010 mommies

Newbiemom - there is different types of cries and the mommy knows best! BF and I also fight over how to dicipline and spoil the kids. He use to be like, leave them so they can fall so they can learn, but has since changed his tune a bit! Bismarck sleeps in our bed as well most of the time for now! BF once let him cry and cry cause he said he will get tired and then sleep! I said bullshit and almost murdered him!
I cant just let him cry! I dont know how you going to handle it. Its very difficult. Im the softy between us and dont just smack or leave. I love and just tell him no the whole time, which is also not right, I see it now with Logan, that if I was a bit stricter with him he would have listened to me as well because he doesnt!

oh, and i looked at myself getting out of the bath last night and got a sudden inspiration to start doing aerobics.... any tips on how to exercise at home?

Sjoe we've been up and down with markus!
When he needs to go to sleep at night we struggle for atleast an hour and a half, because he just cries and cries!! Later, his eyes are red from tiredness, but he just wont sleep!! Goodness! And then he woke up at 1, and i just kpet him in our bed, and he slept till 6:30 again.

When he cries like that at night dh and i always disagrees on how to handle him... i dont like to leave him to cry, and dh says he feels like just leaving him.... but i know his cries, and its not a "moan" cry, its a "hurt" cry.... but dh says "so he just happens to feel sick every night at bed time??" maybe he has a point... but what do i do?? help me...

I havent claimed my 3rd cheque from UIF. Was there the other day but didnt feel like waiting cause they only opened at 9. Was there end of last month. Will they still pay me if I go a month later? Dont know!

Shame Lollipop thats bad. Some weird guy also helped me move out of the traffic. Nice to know there are still nice ppl out there! The weather in JHB is insane. They say its suppose to be 23 degrees but its cold and rainy. Wonder what they smoking??

shame m2b, that is a terrible start to the day...not nice when you clutch breaks...happened to me 4 times in one day (the same day I was writing exams) got stuck on the highway-luckily a guy from Steve's Auto Clinic (very swanky service repair centre here in CT) was driving behind me (got stuck on an offramp so traffic backed up for miles he helped me to get the car started and jippo'ed the clutch so that I could drive to the exam venue...car got stuck again at the venue, across two parkings..just left it there...and then on the way back happened twice, a guy in a Brand new BMW coupe stopped to help me push the car out of the way (got stuck in peak traffic on an incline-yikes!) I was so embarrassed I could die

That sux M2B!!!! I hate spending money on stupid cars! Get that UIF money asap!
