Good morning fellow moomies!

Had an awesome long weekend!! Was so confused yesterday, kept on waiting for Idols and Carte Blanche to start!!

Zani cut another toof yesterday, so we are up to two pearly whites. Bought her her first toothbrush as well. Now that is going to be an interesting operation! At the moment I just use the Bennets Toothies to clean her tooth and she loves it. It tastes like appeltizer! I clean the tooth and then she sucks all the flavour from the wipe afterwards.

We spent another small fortune at Baby City and Kids Emporium this weekend. Bought a Activity Jumper for Zani. I must say that it has been the best investment EVER!! It gives mommy some much needed time with two hands to do things. Yesterday I was cooking her meals for the week and she was just bouncing away chatting to herself in the mirror. Too cute for words! We went into Kids Emporium – just too look (ja right!!) – and she got hold of a stuffed monkey (ok, mommy gave it to her!) and she just refused to let go. So we had to buy it for her. It has now replaced the bunny as her sleeping companion. Then this morning my mom gave her a stuffed ostrich that they bought in Outshoorn and she just dropped the poor monkey on the floor in her haste to get hold of the ostrich. What a fickle child!! LOL!

I can’t wait to go home this afternoon. The cleaners showed up at 8 this morning so I get to go home to a clean house!! What a bonus! And this evening they are coming to come pick up the ironing (HATE HATE HATE) and then they bring it back tomorrow evening. Just decided to stop waiting on my DH to get his arse into gear and just do it myself.

Made Zani some Lovely Lentils from the AK cookbook and she loved it the first time and then pulled up her nose the second time. What to do? Also made her some Chicken with Apricots and homemade apple and pear with cinnamon. Oh, and some stewed beef as well. Hopefully she will find something in there to like. Getting really frustrated with the food thing as well. Maybe I’m just expecting too much from her. How much is she supposed to eat? She eats about a heaped tablespoon of food in the afternoon and again in the evening. And she eats about two tablespoons (Dry) of cereal with fruit in the morning.
