Yip Juanita, the dentist also told me this the other day. He said to always dilute the juice with water. The problem actually is when baby is lying with bottle in his mounth and falling asleep, but still sucking on bottle. My neighbour's little boy has really vrot teeth from always walking around sucking on a juice bottle.

I know what you mean Juanita. If you want to risk it you can put a little drop of honey?

I'm not too sure about that one. Jade also drinks alot of juice but when she is not looking I water it down. I buy the Woolies organic (surprise surprise) apple and mango so it does not have added sugar or preservatives which makes me feel a bit better. She never has fizzy stuff unless it is sparkling water or my mom sneaks her some when they take her out!!!

I just need a alternative to juice. Dont like the idea of that much sugar (even if it is natural sugars)

Uhm heres a stupid question?? Someone told me that the sugar and acidity can damage their teeth even before it comes out?? Is it true??

Lihani, also gets hot very quickly, Still sleeping without blanket or duvet. We put up a panel heater in her room & that seems to keep her warm enough.

Most days C is drinking up to 100 ml of rooibos & also some water from his sippy cup. Lihani never liked water or rooibos. Now she loves milo & rooibos, as well as diluted fruit juice. Don't worry if she doesn't want to drink the rooibos. It's still early days.

What pearly whites?

Does he like drinking yogurt Aribeth? I think is a soya one?

Annelize, our house is nice and warm. Leandi's room is about 23C so its very cozy! Last night she slept with a short sleeve vest, long cotton baby grow and her summer duvet and she was fine. Once she got into bed with us this morning at 6 it wasnt long and she started sweating under the duck down. She gets hot very quickly so i try not to dress her too thick and rather take a jacket with that i can take off easily.

Trying the Rooibos again today. Last time she didnt think i was very funny. I have diluted it a little bit with juice to give it a little sweetness, hope she takes to it, she drinks too much juice for my liking. Not good for the pearly whites
