Hi Juno,

I am sorry for your loss. All woman deal and process it differently. Perhaps all your research has helped you deal with it in a different way.

I had a D&C in 2009 and was lucky enough to fall pregnant 3 months later. Sending you lots of super sticky baby dust for a sticky bean.

The ladies here are a wonderful supportive group. Any questions and I am sure someone will be along shortly to try and help.

One on the way

Thanks klk. As you say we all process differently. I think maybe what makes it "easier" with me is I don't feel that deep sense of "lost potential" becase of the nature of the defect and reading as much as possible about it.

Hey Juno,

Im so sorry for you loss (saw it on the TTC thread) Not nice at all.

Everyone is different, some cycles only return to normal from 6 weeks, some longer. I was lucky enough not to have a D&C and fell pregnant 3 weeks after my MC.

As for what you are feeling, also some deal differently. I was an emotional wreck.

Good luck! Hope you get your sticky bean real soon.

Hi - just interested to know how long after a D&C it took you to fall pregnant? I've been told the body is physcally back to normal within a month and from then on.

Also is it normal to feel so emotionally "normal" after a D&C? I've had my moments sure and the last was waking up and knowing that it was over and I was no longer pregnant but from then on I've been fine. Maybe it's a delayed reaction. My hubby on the other hand is taking this SO badly.
