Hi there,

Am doing okay thanks. It was a month ago today... it feels like it has been much longer. Have mostly just been keeping busy at work, we are moving at the end of the month, which I am quite excited about and things are just ticking on.
It is hard to see pregnant mommies, or mommies with little babies and to think about what would have been now.... but I'm hopeful that we will catch up soon and have our own good news again.

No sign of AF yet and not sure how things are supposed to work now. Gynae said 4-6 weeks so I wont worry yet. Also trying not to get stressed out about ovulation etc etc... Will try to take things as they come.

Thank you for your message! :)

Aww Bokkiemom, so sorry for your loss. It is the worst thing that any woman will ever have to endure.

When I MC'ed at 7 weeks I never had a D&C as I bled out naturally and my doc gave me the go ahead to try again. I conceived my son 3 weeks after my MC so yes if you are up to it, I totally agree. It may take longer as you have had a D&C but I do hope that your TTC journey is short and sweet. Good luck and keep us updated x

Hi ladies,

After having a d&c 3 weeks ago, I was browsing around trying to get a feel for what others may be going through in the same situation and felt like I just had to join up here... some of the posts had me with tears in my eyes and it's just nice to feel like I'm not the only one going through all this.

A little history... I have a beautiful 3 and a half year old son and we were surprised to find out I was pregnant in early July as there were no plans, but we were extremely happy and excited about it and so were family and friends who we told.
At 7 weeks I had some spotting, was put on bed rest for a week and at 8 weeks had a miscarriage and d&c.
I was and still am heartbroken, but have hope because I have not had any problems in actually falling pregnant and I think that this has made us realize that it is something we really do want.
The gynae did say that there was no reason not to try again straight away if we wanted to, so I think that we are going to do just that.

Hope everyone has a lovely day. Look forward to getting to know you. :)

oh Joybaby, for the first time I realise how difficult it must have been for you to go through my pregnancy with me after having lost your baby. I wish I knew then how to better support and comfort you. You are an amazing friend, i appreciate you more than you know.

Thank you Lucy, I will share my story soon :) xxx

1st pregnancy - We had a natural birth at home with our midwife. It was a dream come true!

2nd pregnancy - 2012 Miscarriage at 12 weeks (blighted ovum)

3rd pregnancy - 2012 Miscarriage at 7 weeks

4th pregnancy - 2013 Twins Miscarriage at 6 weeks 4 days

3 Sept 2014 - Saw and heard our little heartbeat.
