Pregnancy after D&C

Debbie with Kaylee I went for my first scan just after 6 weeks and doc couldnt find baba at all, only the sac!!!
Imagine the nerves!!! But he suspected baby was hiding somewhere. I'll try find my first scan pic to show you what it looked like.

I also went back 2 weeks later and there she was.

I also went to have my HCG levels checked after that first scan and all was well. I also had my progesterone checked cos I was so nervous of another MC.
I really hope its the same for you.

Hi there all.

Sorry for being mia. You all know how it goes in hospital. Yes, I am at home already. At provincial they only keep you 2 nights if there is no complications.

Gerhardt is such a good boy. He hardly ever cries. Only when he was born, once in hospital and when my mother bathed him earlier today. He just wakes up and starts sucking his hands, then I know he is hungry. (Speaking of, my boobs are getting tingly.)

Kids were so exited when we got home this am. They held him, and wouldn't leave us alone. Hehe. Lize-Mari just keeps asking why is Gerhardt sleeping all the time.

Although he was a whole 3.4 kg's, he looks so small, and newborn clothes are way too big. To think in about a week it will start to fit him. They grow so quickly.

Oh, and before I forget. My dog went crazy when we got home! She ran around smelling everything. We allowed her to come close and get his scent. Now she keeps going to our bedroom. She has calmed down a bit.

I am not in too muck pain. My back and neck hurts. Its either from the anesthesia or from that bed. I hate hospital beds. I am having some emotions. Last night I just wanted to cry. I look at this babies face, and I am just happy. Oh, and I got my tubes tied. And I know I had questions about doing it, but going into hospital, I just knew it was the right thing.

Anyway, enough from me. I will upload some pics in a moment.

No other personals..... Debbie, I know exactly how you feel. It happened to me last year when I fell pregnant after my mc. In my case it was a bo, and very small. But, I have heard of cases where there just wasn't a heartbeat with the first scan, and when they go back, all is ok. So just hang in there. Will be praying for you!
