Today would have been my little angels birth. And af is on her way. All on the same day. I am not even hungry.......

Anyway, have to clean the house now.

Sue - That is so awesome that the Mommy birdie came back Sue have you thought about getting a little "help" from your gynae. Just like me, in medical terms we are considered "elderly" mothers - scary hey! Anyway my scan and consult which had to take place on a sunday was about R700 and I think the jab was about R200. My gynae is known to be expensive, so I think this is the maximum. Oh and med aid did cover the R700 part! I think it did play a big role in terms of getting the timing right, obviously, but it made my other fertile signs stronger eg. I had more EWCM than I knew what to do with! Stronger O pains than usual and even my temp shift was more dramatic ...... all for one little R200 jab. The other bonus of course is he checked the egg and my lining before hand!

Wow caught up all the posts - shoo had heart failure when I read about Girly but so glad things are OK!

Jodan - I am in exactly the same boat, It has almost been a year since I found out I was pregnant. I have since had a chemical pregnancy and nothing since. Starting to wonder if it will ever happen again. My MIL doesn't help either - I wish she would just butt out and stop asking questions and carrying on like there is something wrong just because she never had a MC. AAARRRGGF!!

I have to tell you girls about my miracle bird. A rock pigeon built her nest on top of our security light in the back courtyard. Two babies hatched. I have been putting food out for her. On Saturday morning I went to put food out and the nest was gone. We looked on the ground and found the nest had slid off the light and the babies had landed on the tiles below. (She must have flown off with a fright from something and knocked the light which was adjustable). One baby was dead but the other was still alive. I picked him up and put him in a wicker basket. DH secured it with cable ties on the top of the light and tightened the light. THen we waited. That afternoon - mommy came back and was sitting on top of the little wicker basket. THey normally don't accept their babies if you have touched them but I think she new we were trying to help. He is still doing well so far.

JoDon - I so get the lack of trust in your body. My lastest secret fear is that I'll get through the 1st trimester fine and then end up having an incompetent cervix and losing my baby when I am over 20 weeks! GGrrrrrr. Our minds are toooo active!

Aanaa - I reckon that factory of yours is going to be making a girl pretty soon!
