Ika me too - always within 12 hours of the positive test. I'd say try BD tonight & tomorrow night to cover your bases
Hey Chan

So are you starting to relax a bit?
The beginning is always tough.
Esmari as far as I know a lap is done through an incision in the naval, and is not majorly sore or anything, except for the meds that cause pain in your shoulder and you should take it easy a couple days afterwards.
They use a similar procedure to remove cysts.
The D&C you will be put under general anesthetic, and the doctor will go in through your cervix. It stands for Dilate and Curretage - where they dilate your cervix to get in, and clean out your uteris of any left over products of conception.
The op is no longer than 40 mins long, and you'll go into recovery for about 30 mins afterwards. When you wake up you may feel pain in your uteris / ovaries area, but just tell them, they will up your meds. They will need you to eat something, and go to the bathroom before they will let you go home.
Oh yes - take your own pads with otherwise you will get hospital ones - and go for slightly thicker ones for the first 2 days. And that probably means granny panties. I remember having to stop at Mr. Price on my way to get panties cos I only have g-strings.
You will bleed and then spot on and off for up to 2 weeks. I only bled for a couple of days, and then spotted for about a week.
Hope the info helps. It's almost a year ago so its not as clear anymore.
