Nels nanny rules I discussed with my wonderful nanny b4 hand:
1. how many times baby must bath.
2. how many times to feed her (allow flexibility, so she doesnt starve baby when she's still hungry/during growth spurts)
3. what NOT to feed baby.
4. how many time/week to wash baby's clothes. specify that clothes which are stained should be attended to immediately otherwise you'll find them ruined.
5. Precautions around the house to avoid baby being injured.
6. do you allow her to walk to the shops with LO or not.
7. when she can take leave days and let her know to give you enough notice so you can make alternative arrangements.
8. how to handle her family emergencies.
9. what is it she can eat/not eat in the house. Pls be considerate with this one, dont starve the poor woman or restrict her too much or else she might steal the food when you are not there. if you can afford, buy her what she'll like also now and then.

Nels-n i think you should sit down with the nanny and draw up a list of things she will be doing,like my nanny,her duties was to look after Mj,he was first priority,she does not clean,nor cook for us,she only did Mj's washing on fridays,the problem i have with her is that she always says she has no money for transport during the month,always,tried speaking to her,tried comming up with solutions,but zilch,all in all she was good,and Mj loved her,right now wen Mj cums back,i am going to use my friend's aunt,she is older,so will see how that works out.
