See, your Paed says baby is getting used to his new Enviro, but the elders will say something else. Tay is still doing it sometimes and she is 4 1/2 months.

Hey,mommies hope nigrand and taking gud care of those fairies,jnr is getting bigger by the day,i cnt wait to take hm out and show him off,i also use lennon products bt get a bit scared to give hm some of the drops,Jade when Tay gets jumpy in her sleep,did u start giving her the drops wen she ws still a new born,or did u only start nw?bcoz jnr has the same prob,and hs paed said it's bcoz he is nt used to the enviro,mama-m glad ur enjoying ur lm,anyone heard 4rm wild@heart?enjoy ur day ladies.

Ntoko, you see why I joined this group is because you guys can relate to these kinda things.

I once posed a question regarding Tay`s fontanel and obviously the white ladies answered that baby was dehydrated. Only to find that in DH`s culture when a baby has a sunken fontanell she has to be seen by a person who works with babies to "strengthen" her against these evil things. So , in my culture, we don`t do anything but because her daddy is Sotho my mom also advised me to let DH and family do their thing if its in their culture coz my baby might suffer. So we went to this lady and she gave her some medicine to drink everyday and she also mixed sweet oil with garlic and told me to just dab on her head(fontanell) and a bit on her tongue when we have visitors. She also gave me incense to burn at night before we slept, I think Tay was 12 days old when this happened.

Till today I use baby vaseline mixed with Haarlemensis after every bath and also as a barrier cream when I change her nappies. I also put a drop of haarlemensis and a drop of stuipdruppels in her bath water.

And on the days when she gets restless or shakes in her sleep or crying for nothing I use 1 drop Rooilavental , 1 drop Stuipdruppels , 1 drop Behoedmiddel , 1 drop Entressdruppels, mixed with her water bottle and a bit of brownsugar to drink and she calms down.

These drops are all from Lennon in the yellow boxes and they help me a whole lot. At first I didnt wanna use it cause I mean these are modern times, but I had to learn the hard way...
