Capiteca, best solution for our better halfs is to buy & hide - should it happen that he gives you money to buy then you keep that & take out the stuff you had hiden from him - works for me

True - Whenever you feel like buying. After all its your baby and at the end you are the one who will still buy so it makes no difference.

I've been meaning to buy but haven't started (very lazy) .
Some people start buying, immediately when they hear the good news & i personally thinks its the best idea ever - kids furniture, clothes, ect. is expensive & you actually save yourself from stressing alot. Am just happy the only furniture i need to get is the cot & the car seat - this is not counting the rest of the stuff
