Ok, I asked this question on the Pampers Forum and got some very good response. I now have an added question/concern to add to my decision making.
Basically, DH and i were both originally set on buying a wooden cot for baby. Then, for no reason we both suddenly started considering a camp cot instead.
We live in a fairly small 2 bedroom flat so won't have space for both - it will have to be either/or. If we get a camp cot it would be one of the "high tech" ones with basinet etc.
My added concern regarding the camp cot is this: Do you get camp cots with adjustable bases (like wooden cots)? My mom bought a camp cot the other day to keep at her house for her grandkids. I helped her put it up and i noticed that the basinet can only be used to 3 months but the base is not adjustable. Woudn't this cause endless backache with all the bending required to put baby down and pick him up again?
Please share all experience/opinions with me as to which you think is best and all pro's and con's for both. I'm so confused now as to what i should buy.
