Hi Girls,

Joli - thanx for updating us! We are all so worried about you ((((hugs))))
Can't believe it happened so quickly, without any warning at all! Did the dr. maybe tell you WHY this might have happened or is there just no reason for it?
I'm heartsore for you for not getting the birth you wanted and missing out on the last two months of preparing. But yes, I also know there is a reason for all that is happening even if we don't understand it. All will be well and your little angel will be just fine. ;) I'm still voting for a little boy here.... hehe.
If possible, pls keep us up to date and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Faw - jeez girl... I have so much respect and admiration for you... You are really something special, keep your chin up and believe in yourself, you deserve just happiness and love! Your children will be that for you till one day when our Heavenly Father will bless you with someone worthy of you.

Kimika - Yeah on buying the bag! Post a photo when you get it pls.
I'm also washing the newborn clothes I bought for Kiana today! And not waiting till the weekend either to pack her bag... doing it today in between working.

Meags - Dont move/ carry heavy stuff anymore please! Take care of yourself, we really don't want another March mommy going into labour so soon!

Claire - Oh my! That is one awfully high vet bill! Hope your puppy is well now and will stay that way, we love them to bits but wow they can get expensive when sick.
Hope your family will give your babyshower soon now. :)

Hope everyone will have a great day.

Hi Ladies,

hope you all well.

I just wanted to come send all my regards to Joli, thinking of you big time and Baby B.

Kimika - at least you will be prepared and well done for ordering the baba bag.

Emsmom - good luck at orientation day.

Fawhaway - I do not know how you have had the strength to carry on despite all your difficulties, us moomie ladies are tough cookies!

AFM: My puppy was vet the whole of last week with suspected gastro, then got parvo and R 6 000 later we are housebound til payday. Finally started baby shopping, and nervous because I have no idea when my family is planning my babyshower and when I can finish shopping. big hugs to you all ;)

morning girls

Joli hope it's ok that I'm updating everyone about you on your leaking waters thread. everyone is very concerned about you!!

Vix - naughty me...I did move the mattress on my own. I know...I really shouldnt. But I'm the kind of person that if I want something done, I have to do it. I am too impatient to wait for the help! It was a pleasure helping with Jono. They are just too sweet!

Kimika - :p thanks for the comment about the newborns! I got loads of experience and since I catch them from birth, gotta be confident in handling them!
Glad you ordered a nappy bag!!

Faw - hope you get everything sorted out? 12kg weight gain isnt bad. I've gained more than that already!

Oh Joli, Im so happy to see a post from you!!! Ag man, my heart is sore for you because things are not going the way you want them to. But as long as baby B is doing ok then its all good. I could hardly sleep last night, was tossing and turning the whole time thinking of you and wondering how things are going. Hugs !!!!!!!!

Ok so she inspired me so much that I emailed the Vintage Vanilla lady last night at about 11pm and ordered my nappy bag :) LOL Will make payment today and she said she will have it sent by next week. hehe.. But I must say that she did email me the sized yesterday early already and it seems big enough and I know I like the colors etc so AT LAST I HAVE A BAG!!!! ... well.. almost.. just need to get it to me :) yayness!

Ill go on Friday to buy dummy, nappies and maternity panties and some receiving blankets.. thats really all I need for now. Ive got some clothes and my mom can always go buy some if needs be. Shoo :)

And I also unpacked my sons newborn stuff last night and put out all the clothes and vests I want to use again, will wash them today!! TODAY!! :)

Oh and I had no more swelling so far.. Ive got a lot of baking to do Thursday so that will be the real test :)

Hope you all have a great day!! xxx

Joli honey how you doing today? I'm sorry that you are feeling so down and must be really hard not to see your girls.
Although its not at all what you were wanting as a birth, as long as baby b is all good I'm sure it will be perfect. And I'm pretty sure that he/she wont have to spend any time in nicu.

Vix, sadly I'm just not the bag packing kinda girl, even with Em, after going into labour early I still hadn't really packed my bag when I went into labour again. I kinda just put together some stuff when I admitted I was actually in labour. Not the best role model here for other moms ;)

Well its oriantation day today for Em, and I've been too excited to sleep - and the fact DH was away last night and I never sleep to well if he's not with me.

Joli- sweetie, I'm so sorry you're not getting your planned birth, I know how badly you wanted to avoid all this clinical regular hospital type birth, I just hope they allow you as many of your choices as possible. I am at least very pleased you and BabyB are doing well and can hopefully wait out a week. Those steroid shots are amazing, my boys never went on to oxygen or anything and they only got the shots within 24hrs of the birth so I'm sure BabyB will have good strong lungs by the time he/she is born. They will most likey have to keep BabyB in NICU for weight gain but judging by your last appointment BabyB already is so nice and big it won't be for long. It's horrible to have baby early especially when you're not ready but I think the worst is to go straight to hospital and not be allowed out again til after the birth, you loose controll of everything. I hope BabyB stays in as long as possible but that each day you spend there goes fast because I only had 24hrs in before the birth and that felt like forever. Thinking of you so much so I had to check in here during my pyjama parade. Xxxxx

Meags- I hope you didn't move that big heavy mattress on your own! You looked great today and thanks so much for helping me with Jono, you really are a natural even with the tiny ones.

Kimika- thanks for the wonderful lemon merangue pie, yummy yummy yummy, way better than Cappuccino's one! Loving your boep and what a gorgeous boy you have, he's going to break many hearts!

All other mommies, Hi hi hi, sorry I don't get much time these days to catch up on all your posts but please know I think of you all often and girls please PACK THOSE BAGS even if you have to re pack a million times before it actually is needed hust have something ready with the essentials and some mommy luxuaries like nice PJ's and slippers (oh and some choccies for good measure)

Xxxxx
