WOW WHAT A LOT OF SCANS GOING ON TODAY!!! Cant wait to see some pics later!

Sorry have been so scarce. I did write a long long post on Friday, but then i could not submit it - the whole thing froze which was very fustrating as i had typed a long catch up and personals for about 45min!

My MS was really bad last week. On Thursday night DH took me to the emergency ward as I had vomited fro 2 solid days and was so worried about dehydrating etc! The doc took blood and urin smaples and then put me on a drip (was very happy about this as he pumpedit full of vitamins etc). Then a while later got the resluts of tests and doc said that i had a "unidentifided urinry tract infection"! That was apparently causing all the vomiting for 2 solid days! Was so grateful to at last get a anti nasea tablet and also anti biotics for the infection. I am not to happy about taking the medication, but he said that it was safe for pregnancy so I am sure it is! Got home at about midnight from th ehospital on Thursday night and for th efirst time in 2 days was able to eat a little and keep it down!

Weekend was very relaxing. Did lots of gardening and a bit of shopping otherwise mostly just chilling! DH and I found a lovely place at eden on the bay yesterday morning fro breakfast - R59 buffet! Wow was I in heaven!! I had the usual english breakfast stuff and then croissants and pancakes and muffins and then more sausages! They should be very carefull with eat all you can buffets when this pregnant lady is around and had not eaten properly in days!!! Think the restuarant was called Karoo. Would really recomend it - the breakfast special is on a Saturday and Sunday.

Yay so happy past 8 week mark! Now am getting really excited for gynae vist on Wednesday! Just so cross my appointment is at 4.30pm! Means will have to wait the whole day!!

I'll get feedback from disc they said We need additional clinical information for us to review this request for PMB cover for preagnancy. They need BHF codes from the doctor. What codes is this. Is this ICD 10 codes?

Shoot this day is just flying by, I love when my day goes like this...

How was everyones weekend? DF and I just lazed on the couch and watched TV and I ate....lol. DF thinks i'm crazy cause I go from salty popcorn to granadilla Yogurt to orange flavoured ice lollies....lol

I have realised that my MS has shifted from the morning to the evening, I'm sure that is normal, but will chat to the doc about it, if it gets bad.

I must say my DF has been much more understanding and helpfull around the house since we found out I was preggies, now I'm not alowed to really do much, he makes the dinners & he does the dishes. all I am alowed to do is run a bath and relax...bless

Its just a bit annoying when I want to have the dinner that smells so nice and two bites later i'm full, but it is getting better I must say, I can now almost finish my dinner....lol

any way, gals you must have a awsome day and we shall chat later again!

Oh Sher I wanted to say that you should have a look at the gynae questionnaires on the top of the pregnancy and birth page. Everyone lists their gynaes on there and you can get some extra info.

Joli, I kinda know how you feel.. although our little babie was planned I still feel we shouldve waited until the new year. I told hubby after my son that I never want to have another baby during difficult financial times and lookie here we are! But he said that so many people have everything in life they would desire except for happiness and healthy children and we should see ourselves as blessed.. so Im going with that! I think as time goes on you will gradually become more used to the idea of another baby.. I think a lot of the bonding only starts once you really feel a lot of movement and get closer to baby's birth.

Its great that your sister will be there for the birth (although you better call her as soon as you feel that first pain!!) hehe.. I would seriously not want anybody in the familiy etc with me when I give birth! ooo no way

Cath, that really is a cutie pie Was that your scan from yesterday? What did you say your son's name is going to be?? Do you think I can add it to our list or is that a bad idea??

Ahhh where are all the other ladies..

I tried moving my appointment to tues or wed but she only has an opening on thursday and the time is not going to work for us.. looks like we are going to have to wait for Friday.. *sigh* .. sooo long to wait!
