morning ladies

just a few hours left until my scan! whoop whoop!

Yip Joli, it is big for a 1st timer!! But I so badly wanted to show so I'm not complaining

I cant believe my DH...we went to a braai yesterday at his friend's house. DH was drinking a fair amount. By the time we left, I knew he was drunk. But he gets weird as he's not drunk like staggering all over the place, he's annoying drunk!!!!

Anyway, he was watching some random movie so I decided to go to bed and read. I heard him snoring so decided he can just stay on the couch so he doesnt disturb me but I covered him with a blanket.

Eventually I went to check on him and found him on the floor!!!! He was so drunk, he rolled off the couch, fell on the floor and still didnt wake up.

anyway, I am sure he is feeling like kak today and he deserves it. Just hope he isnt so miserable at the scan cos I must just kick him hard where it hurts.

EmsMom - I'm still feeling nauseous and I'm 14 weeks already. But I don't get sick, just that feeling hanging around.

Cath - congrats on the confirmation.

I was thinking of going to see Maryka this week as well as I can't feel my baby's movements anymore. I'm a bit worried, but then again, I don't want to go for unnecessary scans so will just hold out until the 6th of October when I get to meet my gynae.

Meags your tummy is definitely growing nicely. Quit big for a 1st time pregnancy!

Fawaway - congrats with your son's winnings! I remember how excited I used to get when Kayla won those type of competition, but I don't enter my girls anymore.

Can't wait to hear all the scan updates.

AFM - We had such a lovely weekend. The girls went to my MIL for the weekend and we had some time alone. I worked in the garden the whole of Saturday. Now everything must just grow! This week I'm going to tell my boss re my pregnancy. Get it over and done with. Will keep you posted. On Saturday night we went to Rodizio's for my SIL's boyfriend's b/day party. I got so emotional there (probably the preggie hormones!!). Everyone was having a good time, drinking and getting tipsy and louder etc. etc. and I just sat there. And then the emotions just took over. I'm still not really excited about this baby (not like with my other pregnancies) and I so missing drinking my wine (I know I'm just being stupid!) and I'm so not ready for a 3rd child and this whole unplanned pregnancy just makes me feel worst like nothing is working out the way it should etc. etc. etc. And to top it all, my SIL so badly wants to be pregnant and now I'm pregnant. Shame hubby was very nice and said we could go home but I went to the loo, had a little cry and went back telling him that I was fine. We still left before everyone else.

I'll worked on Saturday, so my weekend was to short. Hehe

On Friday I went to the mall to get myself some stuffs,wow Edgars had a sale on maternity wear and got some really nice stuff for myself,1 dress and 2 T-shirts but the ones you wear with leggings.And That's it for me,no more shopping with get some from my sister she is 2 more sizes from me so it will help.

Meags my tummy is also sticking out that now I just have to start telling people cause most of them are suspecting as I am normally a flat stomach.

Those eho have scans this week Enjoy.

Haven't told my parents as yet,but praying they won't give me a third degree.

Please can someone advise of good maternity hospitals and gynaes in Durban ...

I have a sister who lives in dbn and is 13 weeks pregnant and is looking for a good referal.

her present gynae is not good and she is unhappy, he was to do a 12 week screening testm downs, nuchal, HIV etc etc...and she had to ask him at 13 weeks to do it or he was not gonna do it till 28 weeks, so he did it but she is like 13 weeks 6 days or so but did not do the nuchal fold...

other than that he doe not print scans etc for her and he is very old school and she is not happy from the beginning.
