So...I went to work and had a scan
Shame there was only an intern and she was too shy to do an internal sonar so she did an abdominal one. Really not as clear but saw the blood flow through the heart which was cool

Not a great pic and somehow I can't get it into the body of the mail but there you go our bouncing boy/girl!

Morning ladies..or almost afternoon!

So so sorry that I haven't been here!!I've had a huge back-log of work and theft case that I had to sort out to clear my mind of stress which was getting to me and baba...but now all is better!!O ja and by little boy Markus was a bit sick on Thursday with some allergy that caused sinus which in turn gave him a stomach bug and then he cut a molar over the weekens which made him even crankier.

I only read a few of the posts and saw we have 3 new members H-buzz, Lucy and my one friend from "Enige iemand sukses.." Anje - welcome ladies!!!!

And then the posts about the effects of progesterone meets pregnancy by Kimika - THANKS! You have described my past 3 weeks in detail!!The bloatedness and cramps are so not my cup of tea, and then the constant nauseous/yucky feeling throughout the day - shame I feel so sorry for my DH as it makes me feel and act like PREGZILLA!!

Except for these niggles all is well with this mommy and baba!I am seeing doc again on Monday..and hopefully now I will be able to chat more regularly!

Lucy I still dont really understand why the c-section vs natural thing is such a heavy debate it's a personal choice.

Pity you're working late...Try get someone to PVR it for you!!! It has made me so emotional and desperate to have another scan

I am considering popping into work this afternoon after visiting the orphanage to have a quick scan. I heard most complications occur before 8 weeks. So once you get to 8 weeks, the risk is lowered a lot. so 4 days to go but I am feeling a little anxious

Meags - Working late today .....grrrrr!

Kimika - Most of the game was between skukuza and lower sabie. We saw the wild dog when we went to Kapama game reserve for the day.

EmsMom - I have heard about that book but I haven't read it. I have not really thought about a downs baby, but I don't think I would be able to terminate. Hard to say when you are not in the situation I think.

Joli - I think you can make out your baby really well.

Thanks for all your thoughts on c/s. I guess I have always just seen those ugly threads on the topic and assume people would judge. So sorry for making that assumption! I actually think it is exciting that we have such a good mix of natural and c/s ladies. I am fascinated by natural so will love learning and hearing from the natural ladies. And of course to learn from those that have done the c/s before..... Tazzy glad you had such a great experience. Hoping for that too.
